Telangana EAMCET 2018: Engineering & Agriculture Exams will be held in different dates

Telangana State Higher Education Council has revealed that this year Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) examinations 2018 for Engineering & Agriculture streams will be held in different dates. The TSCHE has conducted Engineering Entrance Examination in the morning session and So far, the Agriculture entrance examination was held in the afternoon. The tests for Engineering and Agriculture were held in the same day as of now because the examinations are pen-paper based. This time, the TSCHE is going to conduct the EAMCET examination through online. The TSCHE has said that at time 30,000 students can attempt the examination. While the TSCHE is allowing only 25000 students to appear for the test at a time. Because, if any of the computers do not work at the examination time, the students will have to face a great disappointment. Remembering this, the TSCHE is going to conduct the examination for only 25,000 students at a time, though 30,000 computers are accessible.

The Telangana Higher Education Council has said that 50 students can complete the EAMCET examination in a single day. While last year 1,41,190 students have applied and 1,31,910 have appeared for the EAMCET examination for Engineering and Agriculture branches. The TSCHE is expecting that this year also approximately same number of students are going to appear for the examination. Hence Telangana CHE has decided to conduct the EAMCET examination for 3 days for 50,000 students a day.

As per the reports 79,061 students have applied exclusively for Agnriculture and finally 73,501 candidates have appeared for the test. If the same scenario proceeds this year, the EAMCET examination for Agriculture branch will have to be conducted for 1 and half day in 3 shifts. If the applicants count exceeds more, the examination will be conducted for 2 days in 4 shifts.

Telangana EAMCET Exam Dates 2018

The TSCHE is planning to conduct the TS EAMCET Examination from 2nd may to 5th May. While the TSCHE is likely to postpone the EAMCET examination as the AP Intermediate academic examinations were scheduled until 15th March 2018. The Telangana Higher Education is thinking to give the ample time for students to prepare for the examination. While most of the Deemed Universities are going to conduct the entrance examinations in the month of April itself.

The Telangana Engineering Agriculture courses will be starting from August 1st week. TSCHE Chairman Tummala Papi Reddy has said that the EAMCET 2018 dates will be announced shortly within one are two days.
