UK Polytechnic 1st Round Seat Allotment 2020 – UBTER JEEP First Counselling Result
Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee (UBTER) annually conducts the Joint Entrance Examination – Polytechnic (JEEP) examination to provide admissions into various courses. Candidates clearing the Uttarakhand JEEP examination will get admission into various courses on the bases of their rank, and merit scored in the examination. Candidates aspiring for admissions can get admission in various streams such as Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practices, Engineering/ Technology, Pharmacy, Textile Design, Garment Technology, Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Fashion Design and PG Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) and lateral entry admissions (into 2nd year) of Engineering courses. The total number of seats available are nearly 5,685 seats in 70 government polytechnics, 365 seats in 1 government aided and 14,940 seats in 56 private polytechnics. Overall, the seats available for the academic session are 20,990. Students need to score good rank in JEEP examination to get the admission in their required course.

UK Polytechnic Seat Allotment result 1st round is all set to release on 15th October. All the candidates who have competed for the JEEP 2020 can download UK Polytechnic seat allotment result 2020 from the official website, ukcounseling.nic.in. Candidates can check their name, register number, and allotted college information from the seat allotment list. Candidates who do not get admission in 1st round seat allotment can get admission in the 2nd round. The 2nd round counseling process will be conducted from 23rd October to 26th October and the seat allotment result will be declared on 29th October 2020. Hence candidates who do not get the admission in 1st round can wait for the 2nd round counseling and seat allotment process. Candidates who did not get the seat in the 1st round/2nd round counseling process can attend the on spot counseling, which will be conducted if any of the seats left in any college/branch. After the allocation of the UK Polytechnic seat, candidates will have to pay the admission fee for the particular college. If any of the candidates do not want to accept the fees and withdraw the admission, then the candidates can do this. The admission fee is refundable, but the counseling fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
