Examination Regulatory Authority (ERA), UP has announced that the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)-2021 will be announced on 8th April. The announcement was made after the approval of the state government to the Prayagraj based ERA.
“The go ahead from the state government has been received. Now based on the report of subject experts, the revised answer key of UPTET-2021 will be declared on April 7 and the result based on it will be declared on April 8,” said secretary of ERA, UP Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi.
UP TET Result 2022 is to be released on April 8
The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) organized the Teacher eligibility test on 22nd December 2021 and the answer key was released on 23rd February 2022. The ERA earlier slated to release the UP TET result on 25th February. While the result date has been postponed due to the assembly elections.
UP Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh has recently taken the charge and he announced the UPTET result update after the ERA’s approval. The ERS to release the UP TET revised answer key on Thursday and results on Friday.
The UPTET-2021 was held across the state held for a total of 21,65,179 candidates, including 12,91,627 for the primary level and 8,73,552 for the upper primary level. A total of 10,73,302 candidates (83.09%) and 7,48,810 (85.72%) had appeared for the primary and upper primary levels respectively.
The ERA has cancelled the UP TET examination in 2020 amid Corona outbreak. The UP TET 2021 was re-hold on 23rd January due to the paper leak.
Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted for Paper 1 [Primary school teacher posts – Classes1-5] and Paper II [Secondary Teacher posts – Classes 6-8] Based on the rank and merit obtained in the UPTET examination, candidates will be placed in teacher posts in Uttar Pradesh state government schools/private schools.
