UPTET 2021 Results of 20,000 Candidates withheld

The Examination Regulatory Authority (ERA), UP has withheld the results of 20,000 candidates who appeared for the UPTET 2021. The ERA withheld the results of candidates who cleared the D.El.Ed. exams from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).

UPTET 2021 Results of 20,000 Candidates withheld

The candidates who cleared the D.El.Ed. exams from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) are allowed to appear for the UPTET 2021, on the orders of Allahabad High Court, but their results were withheld by the ERA UP.

On April 8, the ERA, UP, had announced the result of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET)-2021.

Secretary ERA, Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi, said, “Altogether, 39% candidates have qualified the primary level TET while 28% have cleared the upper primary level examination.”

He further said that out of 12,91,628 candidates registered for the primary level TET held on January 21. In which, 11,47,090 have appeared in the examination. Of these, 4,43,598 (38.67 or 39%) have passed.

For UP TET Upper Primary exam, 8,73,553 candidates were registered and 7,65,921 candidates appeared for the examination. Of these, 2,16,994 (28.33 or 28%) have been declared successful.

UPTET 2021 revised answer key was released on Thursday, it was decided to give marks to all the candidates for five questions of primary and three questions of upper primary level.
