AP DEECET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
A. Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
B. The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local Status requirement as laid down in the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended from time to time.
C. Candidate should have obtained a rank in DEECET-2021 and should satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed.
D. Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 17 years as on 01-09-2021. There is no Upper age limit.
Educational Qualifications:
I. The candidate who passed or appeared for the 10+2 during 2020-21 final Examinations (Qualifying Examination) or its equivalent are eligible to appear for the entrance test. But, they should have passed the qualifying examination by the time of admission.
II. The candidate should have secured 50 percent of marks in aggregate in qualifying examination for appearing in the DEECET–2021 for both A & B category seats. The minimum percentage of marks in the case of Schedule caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically Challenged candidates shall however be 45 percent for both A & B category seats.

The fee prescribed for appearing for DEECET-2021 (including examination fee) is Rs.600/- (Rupees Six hundred only). UPCET Cutoff marks 2021
The NTA is going to release the UPCET 2021 Cutoff marks at the time of result announcement. The cutoff marks will be decided based on the number of available seats, the number of competitors, and other related things. UPCET Cutoff marks 2021 category-wise [for general, BC, SC, ST] will be released by the AKTU. Candidates have to score the announced cutoff marks to qualify the examination. The UPCET Qualifying marks 2021 will be announced at upcet.nta.nic.in.
Candidates can check the merit list with qualified candidate’s names. Candidates scoring the category-wise cutoff marks with good merit will be listed in the merit list. Aspirants qualifying the UPCET 2021 with good merit will be eligible to get admission in AKTU for 2021 – 22.

UPCET Tie-Breaking Criteria
Candidates with the highest score and less percentage of wrong answers will be taken into consideration.
In the next step, the tie-breaking criteria will be varied for each course.
For B.Pharm, by marks obtained in Biology, Chemistry sections respectively and then by age.
For BBA / B.Des / BHMCT / BFAD / BFA / B.Voc / MBA / MCA / Lateral entry / MBA(Integrated) / M.Tech / M. Sc. by age only.
For MCA, by the marks obtained in Mathematics/Statistics/Accountancy, followed by marks obtained in Logical Reasoning respectively and then by age. Candidates with higher age will be placed at higher merit.
UPCET Counselling and Seat Allotment Process
After the declaration of the result, the AKTU/UPTU is going to conduct the counseling process for the admission of qualified candidates. The UPCET counseling process is expected to be conducted on the announced dates. Qualified candidates can fill up the choices for admission. As per the choices filled by the aspirants, the colleges will be allotted. Based on the rank, category of the candidate’s the seats will be filled by the UPTU.
