I am by direction of the Vice-Chancellor, it is to inform to all the Press & Electronic media that the starting schedule for 4th Semester All PG Science courses, MCA & Science Certificate/Diploma Courses of University Examinations, 2020 be preponed from 21-09- 2020 to 14-09-2020 and that the starting schedule for 4th Semester D.P.Ed / B.P.Ed/ M.P.Ed/ M.Ed University Examinations 2020 be postponed from 21-09-2020 to 28-09-2020 in view of Govt. of A.P schedule for Village/ Ward Secretariat staff recruitment.
The Hall Tickets of the above Examinations will be collected from the concerned Principals Of the affiliated Colleges of this university from 11-09-2020. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada has taken a major decision in the view of the COVID situation. JNTUK has scheduled the final year/semester exams from 12th September. If students are tested positive for Corona and unable to attend the exams, they will be provided another chance to attend the examinations. Students who have not attended the examinations can produce a doctor certificate in their respective colleges to attend the exams again. Though the students tested with COVID positive and willing to write the exams, they can attend the exams. The COVID positive students will be allotted special rooms to write the examinations.

AP ECET 2020 Exam Centres
Applicants can select 3 examination centers as per their preference. The exam center will be allotted by the conducting authority for the contenders.
JNTU Hyderabad: The Principals are informed to note that the lab examinations of final semester B.Pharm.course should be either conducted at the Parent College or the college which is in the neighborhood of residence of the student. In the lines similar to final semester theory exams, the preferences of exam center for writing the lab exams may be collected from the students. These preferences may be uploaded to the University portal on or before 16-09-2020. The Pharmacy College may choose to conduct both the lab exams of final semester B. Pharm. course on one single day (one exam in FN and one exam in AN) for each student to give comfort to the students. These examination should be during from 28-09-2020 to 3-10-2020.
The second mid-term examinations of final semester B.Tech. / B.Pharm / MBA shall be conducted either in the form of viva exam or in the form of online exam.
If the college choose to conduct the viva-exam mode, the following guidelines may be followed: a) Two faculty members should act as examiners for each subject. b) The viva-exam and the evaluation must be done candidate-wise. c) Two examiners and one student must be in online mode at the same time. d) All the video proceedings must be recorded. e) Each examiner should ask minimum five questions for each student. f) If a student answers a question, to assess the depth of understanding a few ancillary questions on the same question may also be asked. g) The viva exam questions should asses the conceptual understanding of the subject and should be difficult to predict the questions by the student. h) The examiners should evaluate independently and submit their marks to head of the dept. or the section/class in-charge. These marks are to be averaged to compute the marks of Mid-II marks of each student.
If the colleges choose to conduct the exams in the online mode, the colleges may choose to conduct the exams either in descriptive mode or objective mode. The application/platformto conduct the exam and mode of transfer of student answers/answer sheetsneed to be identified by the individual colleges only.
The B.Tech. / B.Pham. / MBA students who could not attend for the project-viva exam due to internet connectivity problems, shall be given an opportunity to appear for the project viva exam. The project viva exam for such students should be scheduled during 28-30 September, 2020. All such registrations should be completed before 16-09-2020 through online registrations portal.
Advisory for the candidates and special instructions regarding Covid-19 to conduct of examination and other important guidelines are enclosed as Annexure to this letter.
General Guidelines
With regard to the duration of exam and promotion to next year, due to Covid-19 pandemic, following guidelines may be noted in compliance of the UGC/TSSCHE guidelines:
All the end-semester examinations shall be conducted for a duration of two hours. However the maximum marks of external exams shall remain the same. The timings of semester examinations are 10:30AM to 12:30PM in the forenoon session and 2:30PM to 4:30PM in the afternoon session. The examinations of some branches shall be held in the forenoon session and other branches shall be held in the afternoon session. Please refer the detailed timetables for more details.
Due to the CET examinations, it is necessitated to conduct the semester examinations on two Sundays (20-09-2020 and 27-09-2020).
The pattern of examination shall be “Five out of eight question pattern”. There shall be no compulsory section with short answer questions. The questions shall be set/moderated such that the students can comfortably answer each question within 20 minutes time.
There shall be no credit based detentions for the academic year 2020-21. This relaxation is applicable to all the regular students as well as to all the students who detained in previous academic years (and not attending the classes) due to shortage of credits. However every student has to pass the University exams for all the subjects whenever the exams are conducted to acquire the credits.
The semester-end examinations shall be conducted at respective parent colleges only. There will be no shuffling of the students from Parent College to host college. However for the colleges which have applied for progressive closure and the colleges where the number of students enrolled for the examinations are less than a specified threshold, one of the nearby colleges shall be identified for their students to write the semester examinations.
If any student is unable to attend the IV B.Tech. / B.Pharm. II semester exams due to mobility restrictions caused by corona pandemic, such students can appear for the advanced supply exams which shall be scheduled within two months after the conduct of regular B.Tech. / B.Pharm. II semester exams. It will be not treated as supplementary exams for those students who do not appear for even a single exam.
JNTUA, Ananthapuramu – Postponement of B.Tech IV Yr II sem (R15) Reg & Supple Sep 2020 Exams schedule on 10.09.2020 – Reg.
In view of APICET-2020, the B.Tech IV Year II semester (R15) Regular & Supplementary September 2O2O Examinations scheduled on 10.09-2020 (Thursday) are rescheduled to 15.09.2020 (Tuesday). The timing of the examinations shall remain same.

Rajasthan ITI Second/2nd Allotment List 2020: The Directorate of Training Rajasthan is to be announced the Rajasthan ITI 2nd Allotment list today, 7th September. Hence all the hopefuls applied to get admission in ITI courses can check the merit list by visiting the official portal, http://hteapp.hte.rajasthan.gov.in/.
In the merit list, DTR is going to mention the names of eligible applicants to get admission for the ITI course. After declaring the merit list, the Directorate of Training Rajasthan is going to conduct the counseling for selected candidates. Various rounds of counseling process will be organized by the DTR to offer admissions for the shortlisted candidates. The Directorate of Training Rajasthan is the state level board that offers various ITI courses for the students. The organization provides admissions for various Government and private ITI colleges of Rajasthan. The admissions will be offered in various trades SCVT trades, NCVT / CoE trades, SCVT under IMC (SCVT trades run by IMC in some ITIs) under Craftsmen Training Scheme. On the basis of merit, the admission will be offered to the applicants. Students can have the choice to select their preferred trades in the ITI course. Also, they can choose their preferred colleges at the time of admission.

JNTUK Guidelines to Autonomous Colleges for conducting Final Semester Examinations
1) As per UGC guidelines, the Final Semester Examinations are to be conducted before 30th September 2020. The University planned for conducting the Final Semester examinations between 12-09-2020 to 27-09-2020 following existing practices without any inconvenience to CET examinations and Village/Ward Secretariat Staff Recruitment Examination. Similarly, the autonomous colleges shall schedule examinations accordingly.
2) In view of COVID-19, the End Examinations needs to be planned for a set of branches in the forenoon session and a set of branches in the afternoon.
4) The seating arrangements shall be made such that only 12 to 15 students are accommodated per exam hall of size 66sqmt.
5) The COVID-19 precautions must be strictly followed during the conduct of examinations like wearing a mask, maintaining physical distance and timely sanitation of examination halls & common areas.
6) In case any student miss the examination due to COVID-19 hospitalization/quarantine, travel restrictions, such cases should be brought to the notice of University Examination Centre immediately after the completion of the examinations for necessary action.
7) A copy of the schedule of the examinations shall be submitted to the University Examination Centre.
