YSR Amma Vodi Eligibility Criteria 2019

The Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced a flagship programme “AMMA VODI” as a part of “NAVARATNALU” for providing financial assistance to each mother or recognized guardian in the absence of mother, who is below poverty line household, irrespective of caste, creed, religion and region to enable her to educate her child/children from Class I to XII (Intermediate Education) in all recognized Government, Private Aided and Private Unaided schools/ Jr. Colleges including Residential Schools/Colleges in the State from the Academic year 2019-2020.

2. Accordingly, the Commissioner of School Education has submitted a proposal together with policy guidelines for implementation of “JAGANANNA AMMA VODI” programme vide reference read above.

3. After careful examination of the proposal submitted by the Commissioner of School Education, Government hereby order to provide financial assistance of Rs.15,000/- per annum to each mother or recognized guardian who is below poverty line household, irrespective of number of children of that family studying from class I to XII in all recognized Government, Private Aided and Private Unaided schools/Jr. Colleges including Residential Schools/Jr.Colleges in the State from the Academic year 2019-2020 under a new programme “JAGANANNA AMMA VODI” as part of “NAVARATNALU” in order to enhance access to schools, ensuring equity, assuring quality education, for regulation of attendance, retention and to achieve minimum learning levels, and for overall development of the child from Classes I to XII (Intermediate Education) which will lead to a strong foundation for the increase in overall Gross Enrolment Ration (GER) at primary and secondary level of education of the state including Higher Education. Guidelines for implementation of “JAGANANNA AMMA VODI” programme are as follows:-

(A) Eligibility:

1. The beneficiary i.e., Mother/Guardian is eligible for Rs.15,000/- per annum irrespective of number of children of that family studying from class I to XII.

2. The Mother of the child should be from household that is below the poverty line as per the norms prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

3. The Family should be in possession of a White Ration Card issued by the Government. Family is defined as Father, Mother and dependent children.

4. The beneficiary/Mother shall possess valid Aadhar card or having applied & verified.

5. To the extent possible the Aadhar card details of children studying between Classes I to XII be made available. The Aadhar details shall be collected only with the consent of beneficiary.

6. In case of the demise or absence of the Mother, the quantum of Rs.15,000/- shall be paid to the natural Guardian of the child.

7. The valid ration card data base shall be subjected to the 6 step validation.

8. The Children of the beneficiary should be studying in Classes I to XII in Government/ Private Aided/Private Un Aided Schools/ Junior Colleges recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh including Residential Schools/Jr.Colleges.

9. For orphans/ street children, who are admitted in schools through voluntary organization, this benefit will be extended in consultation with Department concerned.

10. The mother/beneficiary shall ensure at least 75% attendance of the children.

11. If the child/children discontinue their studies in the middle of the academic year, they will not be eligible for the benefit for that academic year. However all efforts shall be made to bring back that child to the school.

12. The students studying in the eligible institutions in Classes I to XII shall be taken as a single cohort for identifying the beneficiary mothers for grant of incentive under the scheme.

13. State/Central Government and PSU Employees, Government employee pensioners (including PSU, Central Govt etc), Income tax payers are not eligible for claiming financial assistance under this scheme.

B) Mode of Payment:

1. Every beneficiary /Mother should have Savings Bank Account in any Nationalized Bank or Post Office in the vicinity of the Village.

2. The amount of Rs.15,000/- shall be transferred to the beneficiary’s unencumbered Bank Account in the month of January every year through online till the child continues his/her Education upto Class XII.

3. The financial assistance shall not be continued to the Child beyond completion of Class XII.

ఒకటో తరగతి నుంచి 12వ తరగతి చదివే పిల్లల తల్లులకు సంరక్షకులకు ఈ పథకం వర్తిస్తుంది. దారిద్ర్యరేఖకు దిగువన ఉన్న కుటుంబాలు ఈ పథకానికి అర్హులు. రెసిడెన్షియల్ స్కూల్స్ కాలేజీలు సహా ప్రభుత్వ ప్రైవేట్ ఎయిడెడ్ అన్ ఎయిడెడ్ స్కూళ్లు జూనియర్ కాలేజీల్లో చదువుతున్న పిల్లల తల్లిదండ్రులకు కూడా ఈ  పథకం వర్తిస్తుంది. ఖచ్చితంగా ఈ పథకం కోసం తెల్లరేషన్ కార్డ్ ఆధార్ కార్డు ఉండాలి. పేదరికంలో ఉండి తెల్లరేషన్ కార్డ్ లేకున్నా అర్హత ఉంటే విచారించి అమ్మఒడి పథకం వర్తింప చేస్తారు.

ఇక అమ్మ ఒడి పథకం విద్యార్థికి వర్తించాలంటే ఖచ్చితంగా విద్యార్థులు డిసెంబర్ 31 నాటికి 75శాతం హాజరు కలిగిఉండాలి. పాఠశాలల ఉపాధ్యాయులు వీరి హాజరును ప్రభుత్వానికి సమర్పించాలి.

అమ్మఒడి పథకం అందరికీ బదులుగా అర్హులైన ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలలో చదివే నిరుపేదలకే  ఇవ్వడం మంచిదా? ప్రభుత్వ పాఠశాలల్లో పిల్లలను చేర్పించే వాళ్లకే ఈ పథకం వర్తించేలా ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయం తీసుకోబోతున్నట్లు పలువురు మంత్రులు వ్యాఖ్యలు ద్వారా వార్తలు వచ్చిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే.

అయితే ఎక్కడ చదువుతున్నారనే దానితో సంబంధం లేకుండా ప్రతీ విద్యార్థికీ ఏటా రూ. 15 వేలు సాయం చేస్తామని ఎన్నికల సమయంలో ఇచ్చిన హామీకే జగన్ కట్టుబడినట్లుగా తెలుస్తుంది. ఈ మేరకు ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రవేటు పాఠశాలలలో చదివే విద్యార్థుల తల్లికి ఈ పథకం కింద డబ్బు ఇవ్వాలని జగన్ నిర్ణయించినట్లుగా తెలుస్తుంది. పేద విద్యార్ధులు అందరికీ వర్తింపు చేయాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు.

ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్‌ జగన్‌మోహన్‌రెడ్డి ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా భావిస్తున్న ‘అమ్మ ఒడి’ పథకాన్ని ఇంటర్మీడియట్‌ విద్యార్థులకు కూడా వర్తింస్తుందని ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించింది. జూన్ 27న విద్యాశాఖపై సీఎం వైఎస్‌ జగన్‌ నిర్వహించిన సమీక్ష సమావేశంలో ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. ప్రభుత్వం, ప్రైవేట్ జూనియర్ కాలేజీలతోపాటు హాస్టల్లో ఉంటూ చదివేవారు, రెసిడెన్షియల్ హాస్టళ్లలో ఉండే వారికి కూడా ఇకపై అమ్మ ఒడి పథకం వర్తిస్తుందని ప్రభుత్వం ప్రటించింది. ఈ పథకం కింద తెల్లరేషన్‌ కార్డు ఉన్న ప్రతి తల్లికి ఏటా రూ.15 వేలు ప్రభుత్వం అందజేస్తుంది. మొదటగా కేవలం పదో తరగతిలోపు విద్యార్థులకే ఈ పథకం​అమలు చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం భావించింది. సీఎం వైఎస్‌ జగన్‌ కూడా పాదయాత్ర సమయంలో ప్రజలకు ఇదే హామీ ఇచ్చారు. కానీ జూన్ 27న‌ నిర్వహించని సమీక్ష సమావేశంలో సీఎం జగన్‌ ఈ పథకాన్ని ఇంర్మీడియట్‌ విద్యార్థులకు వర్తింపజేస్తూ అనూహ్య నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు.

Gujarat University is one of the well-established universities of the Gujarat state established in the year of 1949. The university was accredited with B++ by NAAC. The university offers various UG and PG courses for students every year. Gujarat University UG courses include BA, BSc, BCom, and PG Courses include MA, MSc, MCom. Gujarat University offers affiliation for 350 colleges, 35 approved institutions, and 20 recognized institutions. Eligibility to apply in COEs/SOEs:

All the ST students (Boys & Girls) of Telangana who are appearing for SSC March, 2020 Public Examinations from T.W Residential Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools, Zilla Parishad Schools and other Govt. Recognized schools are eligible for the admissions. Admissions for IIT Study Centre, Rajendranagar, TTWR COE (Girls), Warangal, SOE/COEs will be given on the basis of merit through Screening Tests at two levels conducted by TS Gurukulam. The 1st Screening test may be objective type and 2nd Screening test may be descriptive type. Only the meritorious students from the 1st screening test may be permitted to attend 2nd level screening test at 1:3 ratio. After the 2nd level screening test the selected students will get admission into 1st year Intermediate with integrated coaching for JEE Main/Advanced, EAMCET/NEET/AIIMS along with all benefits which extended by TS Gurukulam, such as free boarding, lodging, Uniform, note books & text books, study material , bedding material and examination fee etc.

  • They should also pass SSC in 1st attempt in March-2020 and secure at least B2 grade (7 points) in aggregate and also secure at least B2 grade in English in SSC Public Examinations 2019.
  • Students studying in Telugu / English Medium are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test (the question paper will be in bilingual) Telugu and English.
  • Parental Income for the year 2020-2021 financial year should not exceed Rupees Two Lakh per annum for urban and 1.5 lakh for rural or as per the Government guidelines at the time of admissions.
  • Selected candidates have to produce necessary certificates like, Caste, Income, Aadhar Card., Marks Memo, Study, T.C., Medical fitness certificate from not less than assistant civil surgeon, (06) Passport size photos at the time of admission.
  • In this regard it is to proposed that the modalities are to be prepared with the following guidelines.
  • There should be two level of entrance tests to be conducted, the first level with MCQ for 160 marks in English, Maths, Physics and Chemistry for MPC and for BPC English, Physics, Chemistry and Biological Science each subject will have 40 questions each question carries one mark.
  • The question paper should be prepared from the basics of VIII to X classes (English and optional subjects).
  • The descriptive question paper contains Maths, Physics and Chemistry for MPC and Physics, Chemistry and Biological Science for BPC each subject carries 40 marks.
  • The question paper consist in each subject 10 very short questions which carries 2 marks and 5 short questions which carries 4 marks. Thus
  • The 2nd Language in all these Institutions may be permitted ‘Telugu’.

Reservation pattern in COEs/SOEs:

1. Admissions will be reserved for STs of Telangana state only, as per GO in vogue.

2. 3% of overall seats will be reserved to the Physically Handicapped children who can attend their work without anybody’s help based on the certificate issued by the Medical Board.
