SCR Apprentice Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have the minimum educational qualification of SSC/Class 10th with at least 50% of aggregate and ITI in relevant trade.

Age Limit

The age limit of the applicants should be less than 24 years and more than 15 years as on 8th December 2019.

Age relaxation of 5 years will be offered for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PWBD candidates, and 10 years for ex-servicemen will be offered as per norms.

The Andhra Pradesh government has promised to make job placements annually. The AP Forest Department said it would issue another notification for job replacement in January. The forest department is facing a shortage of staff; vacant posts will be filled to overcome this, Minister Balineni Srinivasaraddy said. The notification for the replacement of posts will be released in January. It has been revealed that 2500 vacant posts across the state will be filled. He was speaking on the occasion of the martyrs’ commemoration day in the Visakha district. The minister said the red sandalwood smuggling will be curbed. All necessary steps are being taken. New weapons and vehicles will be provided to forest officials. The government has already released Rs 40 crore for the vehicles. He said the Center had sought permission to sell 60 tons of red sandalwood, which is state-owned.
