APEPDCL Junior Lineman Eligibility criteria 2019

Educational Qualification

The candidate should possess the academic qualifications and experience including practical experience prescribed, if any, for the post on the date of the notification.

SSC/10th Class with ITI qualification in Electrical Trade/Wireman trade or intermediate vocational course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wiring & Contracting (EWC) on par with Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA) from a recognized Institution/Board.

Age Limit

The age limit of the applicants must be above 18 years. The maximum age limit will be announced in the official notification. Candidates belong to reservation category will get the age relaxation as per the norms.

Application Fee:

(i) Applicant must pay Rs. 200/- (Rupees two Hundred only) towards Application Processing fee.

(ii) The Candidate applying more than one (1) district/circle will be charged an additional fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees one Hundred Only) per district/ Circle (Maximum 3 Circles/ Districts including local circle/ district).

Pay Scale

The candidates on selection and appointment will be paid Rs. 15,000/- PM as consolidated pay for a period of 2 years.

Procedure of Selection:

(i) Evaluation will be done on a scale of 100 marks with a maximum of 80 marks for the total marks obtained in SSC and a maximum of 20 marks for in service experience in the APDISCOMs as contract worker @ 1 Mark for each completed 6 months period.

(ii) The candidates who secured merit in total marks obtained in SSC will be called for the following tests in 1:3 ratio, as per ROR in the descending orders of aggregate marks.

(iii) However, the candidate must possess ITI Qualification in Electrical / Wireman Trade (Or) or Intermediate Vocational course in Electrical Domestic Appliances and Rewinding (EDAR) and Electrical Wiring & Contracting (EWC) on par with Electrical Wiring and Servicing of Electrical Appliances (EW & SEA) from a recognized Institution/Board.

(iv) The candidates have to appear for the following tests at the Circle head Quarters (Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram & Eluru):

The ANSWER KEY will be published within three days after the completion of the entrance test on the KEA website. The candidates / parents / lecturers, can file their objections, if any, within three days from the date of announcement of the key answers in respect of any of the published answer key, along with the supporting documents & justification. Objections filed by the candidates without justification shall not be considered. Objections received after the last date fixed shall not be considered. Objections received by the KEA will be placed before an Expert Committee, whose decision will be final in this regard.

DIPLOMA LATERAL ENTRY FOR DAY & EVENING ENGINEERING COLLEGES – DCET-2019

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is responsible for conducting the entrance examinations in the state. The KEA annually conducts the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) examination to offer admissions into Engineering/Architecture courses for students qualified in the test with good ranks. Candidates qualified the DCET are eligible to get direct admission into 2nd year (lateral entry) for BE/B.Tech courses and are eligible for admission in B.Arch for 1st year. This year the KEA has conducted the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) examination from 21th July, Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm. Candidates clearing this test will get admission into BE/B.Tech courses in various branches, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engg / Information Science Engg., Chemical Engineering / Polymer Technology, Textile Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Environmental Engg. / Public Health Engg. / Water Tech / Health Sciences, Mining Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ceramics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Biotechnology courses.
