CBSE Class 10 (Mathematics) & Class 12 (Economics) Date for Re-conduct of Examination 2018

In continuation of the Board’s earlier communication dated 28.03.2018, the Board has referred the entire matter to the Delhi Police for detailed investigation. The criminal investigations are on.

Meanwhile, the Board has decided the following:

1. The Board would be conducting the Class XII Economics paper (Code 030) for all candidates except the students in CBSE schools located abroad. The candidates will appear from the same allotted centres using the same Admit Card. The date of the said examination will be 25th April, 2018.

2. As regards, Class X Mathematics (Code 041), the initial inquiries have revealed that the leak was restricted to Delhi NCR and Haryana. Details are still being worked out. In view of this, it has been decided that re-examination will not be considered for any other state except Delhi NCR and Haryana. If after a detailed inquiry it is found necessary to conduct a re-examination, it will be held in July, 2018.

3. All other remaining examinations would take place as scheduled.

Press Release: Reconduct of Examinations

The CBSE decided today to reconduct the Mathematics paper of class X in view of the information received about the likelihood of the Exam having been compromised. The board also took a view that looking to the circumstances that arose during the conduct of Economics paper of class XII, the Economics paper would also be reconducted.

CBSE has filed complaints with the Delhi police in this regard. The Delhi police has handed over the case to crime branch. The CBSE has also instituted an internal inquiry into the matter with a view to secure all future exams.

The fresh dates for the reconduct of the two exams shall be announced before the end of the week, after. taking into consideration the dates of other professional exams and logistics.

Recruitment of 320 Post (39 FAD) of Tradesman Mate & Fireman Under the Field Ammunition Depot has been released by Indian Army in 2017.
