AP EAPCET Counselling Dates 2024 Rank Wise, Certificate Verification, Web Options

The Qualified and eligible candidates of APEAPCET-2024, desirous of seeking admission into B.E/B.Tech Courses are informed that the web counseling process comprising the payment of processing fee cum registration, online certificate verification and option entry will be conducted from 01-07-2024 to 13-07-2024. The candidates are instructed to follow guidelines/Instructions to candidates or user manual to proceed for web counseling process.

The qualified and eligible candidates of APEAPCET-2024(M.P.C. Stream) are informed to participate in web counselling for the seats available in (i) University & Private Engineering Colleges and Private Universities colleges under Convenor quota in the State of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2024-25.

Registration and Payment of Processing fee:

1. Open the website using https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in and click on EAPCET-2024 ADMISSIONS

2. Then click on Registration form link

3. Candidate can enter into Registration form by using “EAPCET Hall Ticket No” and “Date of Birth”

4. Registration form with all the basic information is displayed, verify all the details. a. if no mistakes found, accept the declaration and candidate will be directed to “Processing fee payment gateway”. b. If any mistake found in the information provided, candidate can use the provision to make changes by selecting the option “Yes” from the drop down box provided before the declaration and click on submit button, which will direct the candidate to make any corrections to rectify the mistakes using suitable data with relevant document proofs to be uploaded through online. Then accept the declaration and candidate will be directed to processing fee payment gateway.

  • The processing fee for web counseling is Rs.1200/- (for OC/BC) and Rs. 600/- (for SC/ST). The candidates are instructed to pay through online by credit card/ debit card/net banking etc in web site https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in
  • All the candidates from 1 to Last Rank can pay the processing fee from 01.07.2024 to 07.07.2024 using URL https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.

5. Once the payment is success, then click on print button and take a print out of the payment receipt.

AP EAPCET Schedule for verification of certificates & Web Options Entry

Instructions on exercising the options in the First phase counseling:

1) The following category of candidates can exercise options in the First phase counseling. The Candidates

a) Who has secured seat but not shown interest to join in the allotted seat.

b) Who have not secured seats so far, but got their certificates verified.

c) Who have not exercised the options so far, but got their certificates verified.

d) Who have secured seats, reported and aspiring for a better option.

e) Who have reported/Not reported but cancelled their allotment.

f) Who have attended for certificate verification as per the above schedule.

2) Options given in the 1st Phase will not be considered for this second Phase of counseling for allotment of a seat and candidates have to exercise options.

3) Candidates who are satisfied with their previous allotment need not exercise option once again. They shall note that if they exercise options now and a seat is allotted as per the options, the vacated seat will be allotted to next meritorious candidate and hence they will have no claim on the previous allotment.

4) It is advised to exercise options for interested colleges/courses assuming that vacancies would arise in all colleges in the process of sliding.

Verification of Certificates:

  • On payment of processing fee, Registration number and Login Id Number will be provided through SMS for the Mobile number furnished at the time of filing the application or modified mobile number to all such candidates whose certificate data is already verified through web services. For candidates whose certificate data is incomplete an SMS is sent to attend for verification of certificates at HLC.
  • On confirmation of the displayed data, candidate can create password.
  • Login id, Hall Ticket number, date of birth and password already created can be used to enter the options from Internet facility available at Home/Internet Café/Helpline Center.
  • In respect of candidates whose data is incomplete/ not verified the registration tab will not be opened and a message saying your certificates not verified please contact nearest Help Line Centers for certificate verification such candidates have to visit nearest help line centre and get the certificates verified and proceed for option entry.
  • Candidates are informed that the verification of certificates viz SSC memo, Intermediate marks memo, VI class to Intermediate study certificates, Caste Certificate, Income Certificate/Ration Card, Economically Weaker section(EWS) certificate, Physically Challenged Certificate, Residence Certificate have to be verified by the counseling authorities.
  • However, candidates are requested to note that these certificates were already verified through web services from the respective board/agencies based on the information furnished by the candidate while applying for AP EAMCET 2024 i.e., Common Entrance Test.
  • However, in some cases the verification may be incomplete. Hence the candidates are requested to note the following.
  • After payment of processing fee Click on “Verification Status

1. Enter Hall ticket Number and click on “Show” button.

2. The candidate details will be displayed and at the bottom of the screen the candidates whose certificates got verified online will get display message “ Candidate is eligible for exercising options“ all such candidates need not go to Help line centers for certificate verification and they have to proceed to option entry as per the schedule given in the notification.

3. The candidates whose certificates are not verified online will get display “candidate is not eligible” then such candidates have to go to Help line centers and get their certificates verified and they have to proceed to option entry as per the schedule given in the notification

4. If the candidate is not agreeing with the data verified, candidate is directed to visit the nearest Helpline Centre with all original certificates for verification.

5. Verified candidates need to check the Eligibility for Fee Reimbursement, if it is displayed as “NO” but you are eligible for Fee Reimbursement then after paying the Processing Fee go to the nearest Helpline Centre with Original Income Certificate/Ration card to get Fee Reimbursement Eligibility.

6. Verify the mobile number displayed in the verification status for correctness as all the counseling information will be sent to this mobile number only. If candidate wants to change his/her mobile number visit nearest Helpline Centre and request to change the mobile number in writing to HLC coordinator.

7. The Candidate is requested to verify all the details displayed and Candidate wishes to change the data like Date of Birth, Gender, Region, Caste, Fee Exemption, Minority, Mobile Number etc approach nearby Help Line Center with Original certificates for verification.

Certificates to be produced by candidates

All original Certificates and two sets of Xerox copies

1) AP EAPCET-2024 Rank card.

2) AP EAPCET-2024 Hall Ticket.

3) Memorandum of Marks (Inter or its equivalent).

4) Proof of Date of Birth (SSC or its Equivalent Memo).

5) Transfer Certificate ( T.C)

6) Study Certificate from VI to Intermediate

7) EWS certificate valid for the year 2024-25 from MeeSeva for OC candidates who want to claim reservation under EWS category

8) Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the Qualifying examination i.e. Inter or its equivalent in respect of Private candidates.

9) Andhra Pradesh Residence Certificate of father/mother for a period of 10 years excluding the period of employment outside Andhra Pradesh from Tahsildar in respect of Non-Local Candidates.

10) Integrated Community Certificate, in case of BC/ST/SC issued by the competent authority.

11) Income certificate of parents from all sources issued on or after 01.01.2020 or White Ration card (candidate name and either of the parents name have to be reflected in the ration card) those who claim tuition fee reimbursement)

12) Local status certificate (if applicable)i.e a candidate who migrates to any part of the state of Andhra Pradesh from the state of Telangana from 02-June-2014 to on/before 01-June-2024 shall be regarded as the local candidate in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Score and Result for UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) – 2024:

I. The result/score of UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) – 2024 for all candidates will be declared in june. This score shall comprise the actual marks obtained in UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) – 2024 along with the status of those who qualify for appearing in UPJEE (Polytechnic) counselings – 2024.

II. Only the State Open Rank is used for all the groups separately for admissions through seat allocation while other ranks are for information purpose only.

III. No score/rank card will be dispatched to the candidates. Candidates are advised to download their score/ rank cards from JEECUP website.

IV. The answer keys of examination will be displayed on the website along with result.

JEECUP 2023 SEAT ALLOCATION PROCESS AND ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Candidates shall be offered admission based on their choices, reservation and State Open Rank of UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC)-2024 through a Seat Allocation Process to be announced later. The candidates will be able to make their choices online for branches and institutes at appropriate time. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the UPJEE (POLYTECHNIC) website www.jeecup.org and https://jeecup.nic.in for latest information. The verification of documents would be done at the time of Seat Allocation Process/admission. The purpose would be to verify different records regarding identification, age, qualifying examination, state of eligibility, category and disability (if any) of the candidate. On failing to produce any of the authentic documents, the candidate will not be considered for admission. JOSAA Acceptance Fee/ Admission Fee 2024

Students those have confirmed the allotted seat has to Download JOSAA Seat Allocation Order (Provisional) and also the e-challan for payment of the acceptance fee. SC, ST, Gen-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-Pwd and ST-PwD category candidates have to pay the acceptance fee of Rs. 20,000. The other candidates apart from this list have to pay Rs 45,000 as the acceptance fee.

Where should a candidate report after seat allotment?

A candidate who is allotted a seat in an IIT must report at any one of the reporting centres of IITs. A candidate who is allotted a seat in an NIT+ Institute must report at any one of the reporting centre of NITs’s list. I accepted a seat in first round and now hoping for a better seat. Can I withdraw from the process?

If there is/are subsequent rounds of seat allotment, you are allowed to withdraw and vacate the seat. But not if that is the final round. For example, if there are seven rounds of seat allotments, then up to the end of sixth round seat acceptance period, withdraw option can be exercised. Once seventh round allotment is done, you will not be allowed to withdraw.

Choices After JoSAA 2024 Seat Allotment

What are the meanings of the terms ‘Freeze’, ‘Float’ and ‘Slide’? ANSWER: These three options allow a candidate to either retain the seat allocated or to opt for a change in seat as per candidate’s preference in any of the institutes or in the same institute in which the seat is allocated.

Freeze option: Candidate is content with the allocated seat, accepts it and is not interested in participating in further rounds of seat allocation. This candidate will NOT be considered in subsequent rounds of seat allotment.

Float option: Candidate accepts the offered seat and wants to opt for a seat in an academic program of higher preference in any Institute if offered in the subsequent rounds. If he/she does not get a seat in a higher preference program, he/she will continue with the currently accepted academic program. This candidate will be considered in subsequent rounds of seat allotment.

Slide option: Candidates accepts the offered seat and wants to opt for a seat in an academic program of higher preference within the same Institute if offered in the subsequent rounds. This candidate will be considered in subsequent rounds of seat allotment.

Academic Regulations (R23) for B. Tech (Regular-Full time)

(Effective for the students admitted into I year from the Academic Year 2023-24 onwards)

1. Award of the Degree

(a) Award of the B.Tech. Degree / B.Tech. Degree with a Minor if he/she fulfils the following:

(i) Pursues a course of study for not less than four academic years and not more than eight academic years. However, for the students availing Gap year facility this period shall be extended by two years at the most and these two years would in addition to the maximum period permitted for graduation (Eight years).

(ii) Registers for 160 credits and secures all 160 credits.

(b) Award of B.Tech. degree with Honors if he/she fulfils the following:

(i) Student secures additional 15 credits fulfilling all the requisites of a B.Tech. program i.e., 160 credits.

(ii) Registering for Honors is optional.

(iii) Honors is to be completed simultaneously with B.Tech. programme.

2. Students, who fail to fulfil all the academic requirements for the award of the degree within eight academic years from the year of their admission, shall forfeit their seat in B.Tech. course and their admission stands cancelled. This clause shall be read along with clause 1 a) i).

3. Admissions Admission to the B. Tech Program shall be made subject to the eligibility, qualifications and specialization prescribed by the A.P. State Government/University from time to time. Admissions shall be made either based on the merit rank obtained by the student in the common entrance examination conducted by the A.P. Government/University or any other order of merit approved by the A.P. Government/University, subject to reservations as prescribed by the Government/University from time to time.

4. Program related terms

Credit: A unit by which the course work is measured. It determines the number of hours of instruction required per week. One credit is equivalent to one hour of teaching (Lecture/Tutorial) or two hours of practical work/field work per week.

a) Academic Year: Two consecutive (one odd + one even) semesters constitute one academic year.

b) Choice Based Credit System (CBCS): The CBCS provides a choice for students to select from the prescribed courses.

5. Semester/Credits:

i. A semester comprises 90 working days and an academic year is divided into two semesters.

ii. The summer term is for eight weeks during summer vacation. Internship/ apprenticeship / work-based vocational education and training can be carried out during the summer term, especially by students who wish to exit after two semesters or four semesters of study.

iii. Regular courses may also be completed well in advance through MOOCs satisfying prerequisites.

Attendance Requirements:

  • A student shall be eligible to appear for the University external examinations if he/she acquires a minimum of 40% attendance in each subject and 75% of attendance in aggregate of all the subjects. Condonation of shortage of attendance in aggregate up to 10% (65% and above and below 75%) in each semester may be granted by the College Academic Committee.
  • Shortage of Attendance below 65% in aggregate shall in NO CASE be condoned.
  • A stipulated fee shall be payable towards condonation of shortage of attendance to the University.
  • Students whose shortage of attendance is not condoned in any semester are not eligible to take their end examination of that class and their registration shall stand cancelled.
  • A student will not be promoted to the next semester unless he satisfies the attendance requirements of the present semester. They may seek readmission for that semester from the date of commencement of class work.
  • If any candidate fulfils the attendance requirement in the present semester, he shall not be eligible for readmission into the same class.
  • If the learning is carried out in blended mode (both offline & online), then the total attendance of the student shall be calculated considering the offline and online attendance of the student.
  • For induction programme attendance shall be maintained as per AICTE norms.

Promotion Rules:

The following academic requirements must be satisfied in addition to the attendance requirements mentioned in section 16.

  • A student shall be promoted from first year to second year if he/she fulfils the minimum attendance requirement as per university norms.
  • A student will be promoted from II to III year if he/she fulfils the academic requirement of securing 40% of the credits (any decimal fraction should be rounded off to lower digit) up to in the subjects that have been studied up to III semester.
  • A student shall be promoted from III year to IV year if he/she fulfils the academic requirements of securing 40% of the credits (any decimal fraction should be rounded off to lower digit) in the subjects that have been studied up to V semester. And in case a student is detained for want of credits for a particular academic year by ii) & iii) above, the student may make up the credits through supplementary examinations and only after securing the required credits he/she shall be permitted to join in the V semester or VII semester respectively as the case may be.
  • When a student is detained due to lack of credits/shortage of attendance he/she may be re-admitted when the semester is offered after fulfilment of academic regulations. In such case, he/she shall be in the academic regulations into which he/she is readmitted.

Grading:

As a measure of the student’s performance, a 10-point Absolute Grading System using the following Letter Grades and corresponding percentage of marks shall be followed:

After each course is evaluated for 100 marks, the marks obtained in each course will be converted to a corresponding letter grade as given below, depending on the range in which the marks obtained by the student fall.

Award of the Degree

(a) Award of the B.Tech. Degree / B.Tech. Degree with a Minor if he/she fulfils the following:

(i) Pursues a course of study for not less than three academic years and not more than six academic years. However, for the students availing Gap year facility this period shall be extended by two years at the most and these two years would in addition to the maximum period permitted for graduation (Six years).

(ii) Registers for 120 credits and secures all 120 credits.

(b) Award of B.Tech. degree with Honors if he/she fulfils the following:

(i) Student secures additional 15 credits fulfilling all the requisites of a B.Tech. program i.e., 120 credits.

(ii) Registering for Honors is optional.

(iii) Honors is to be completed simultaneously with B.Tech. programme.
