ANU COVID – 19 Extension of holidays from 17-05-2020 to 31-05-2020
Sub: ANU – Containment, Control and Prevention of Spread of COVID-19 – Extension of Holidays up to 31.05.2020 – Regd.
In continuation of the earlier circular cited under Ref.(2 & 3), declaring holidays up to 17.05.2020 and in compliance of the G.O. cited in the reference (4) of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. I am by direction to inform you that Acharya Nagarjuna University and ANU Campus. Ongole and its affiliated colleges shall remain closed upto 31.05.2020.
In view of the extension of Holidays as cited above all of the University Examinations scheduled, if any, during the above period have been postponed to a later date and the revised dates of examinations shall be announced after 31.05.2020 and hosted in the University official website. The students and faculty are advised to access University website for further information with regard for reopening and examination schedules of both UG, PG & Professional Courses. The employees of the ANU and ANU Ongole Campus should not leave the headquarters without prior permission and attend to the duty during the lockdown period, if necessary.
Further, the Emergency services like Power House, Water Supply, Security, Sanitary, Health Centre and other essential services will work as usual by taking necessary precautionary measures.
The Principals of Acharya Nagarjuna University Affiliated Colleges are also informed to follow the same with strict adherence.
JNTUK Extension of Lock down period up to 31.05.2020
Government, vide GO (5) cited, issued orders stating that the “Lockdown” measures for containment of COVID-19 epidemic in the country, will continue to remain in force up to 31.05.2020, to contain the spread of COVID-19.
In pursuance of. the Government orders, Lock down period is further extended up to 31.05.2020 for the University and constituent Colleges/Units. Copies of the Government Orders under reference (5) above are herewith enclosed.
The Principals of the Constituent/Autonomous/Affiliated Colleges of INTUK are informed to follow the instructions issued by the Government.
JNTUA COVID-19 Lock Down Extension upto 31-05-2020
In continuation of this Office circular dated as reference (1) above, where in it was directed to close all the constituent colleges and affiliated colleges of JNTUA till 17.05.2020, I am by direction, hereby inform that JNTUA shall remain closed for a further period of two weeks with effect from 17.05.2020 i.e till 31.05.2020. All the affiliated colleges as well as the constituent units of JNTUA shall remain closed till 31.05.2020 as per the Government Orders.
The University Examinations schedule will be released by the University based on UGC guidelines and Directions from A.P State Government. The details will be posted in the University official website. The students and faculty are advised to access university website for further information with regard to the re-opening and examination schedules of all the University Examinations.
In this connection, for the benefit of all the students, The Principals of JNTUA constituent colleges and affiliated colleges are requested to instruct their faculty members to prepare and supply the lecture material for the leftover syllabus in the form of e-content like video lectures or power point presentations etc. The e-mails and Whatsapp groups as well as the College web sites can be effectively used for this purpose.
The Principals and the Management are advised to make necessary arrangements so as to complete the syllabus of all years (UG and PG) through on – line lectures. The proof of lecture details and attendance of students should be made available in the respective institutions for verification, in future by University authorities.
The Principals shall also make necessary arrangements to complete the on – going projects of Final Year B.Tech / B.Pharm and IV Sem MBA, VI Sem MCA students through “work from home” during this lockdown period, in consultation with their respective Project guides/Supervisors through online and get ready with the soft copy of the Project/Thesis. The mode conduct of Viva Voce examination will be intimated later.
The University administration will review the situation on 31.05.2020 and update the further action to be taken and will upload the revised schedules of Academic calendars as well as the Examinations in the University Web Portal. All the Principals of the Affiliated / Constituent Colleges are requested to follow the above directions and send a compliance report. Further, the Principals, the Faculty and the students are informed to stay safe and strictly follow lockdown protocols issued by the Government from time to time.
AP 10th Class Exam Pattern & Subject Wise Marks Division July 2020: Andhra Pradesh 10th Class (SSC) examinations will be conducted from July 10 to July 15. Government had took a key decision on conducting examinations in six papers instead of eleven papers considering the delay happened due to Covid-19 pandemic. Examinations will be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.45pm as per the schedule.
AP 10th Class Exam Pattern & Subject Wise Marks Division July 2020
Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (BSEAP) has revised the 10th Class (SSC) examination pattern from 2020 onwards. AP SSC New exam pattern will be designed due to Covid-19 pandemic. The BSEAP board has removed the bit paper option to avoid the malpractice in the examinations. The AP State Education board has introduced a single question paper (paper 1 and Paper 2).
TE Kerala Time Table 2020 June: The Kerala Technical Education Board is all set to organize the TEKerala Diploma examinations in June 2020 for various Diploma/Polytechnic courses.
The notifications for Diploma Examinations, April 2020 under Revision (2015) and Revision (2010) schemes were released on 6th March 2020. The Examinations were to start from the First week of April 2020. The online registration was to be completed on 24th March 2020. The academic sessions were in the final leg. It was as this time that as containment measure to Covid 19 pandemic, the institutions were closed on 10th March and was followed by the nationwide lockdown. Consequently the registration process was suspended on 12th March 2020. Only a minor section of candidates could complete the registration. The examinations are scheduled to be conducted from the first week of June 2020.
Aspirants studying under TE KERALA can get ready for the odd/Even semester examinations. Various Government/Private/Aided colleges of BTE Kerala will organize the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th examinations as per the scheduled time table. Aspirants undergoing Diploma Examination in Engineering/ Technology / Management / Commercial Practice (Revision 2010 & 2015 Schemes) can get ready for the examinations, which are going to be conducted in June. Before going to attend the examinations, students can download TE KERALA Time Table 2020 from the official website, tekerala.org. Candidates of the year 2011 are not permitted to attend the examinations. Aspirants can note this and proceed to attend the TEKERALA odd semester examinations. The Kerala Technical Education Board is also known as TEKERALA. The TEKERELA offers various technical courses for the students. The Kerala Technical Education Board follows the semester system in conducting the examinations. Annually, the DTE conducts the odd, even semester examinations 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th in June/July months and releasing the results in June. Aspirants going through Polytechnic, Engineering, Technology, Management, and Diploma courses can check the June time table details from this article.
I. Registration of Candidates
1. The suspended online registration shall be resumed on 18th May and will extend up to 22nd May 2020, 4PM.
2. All eligible candidates under Revision (2015) and Revision (2010) schemes (All semesters) shall complete the registration with in the given period.
3. Candidates who have completed the registration and submitted the applications to the respective Polytechnic college offices before 12th March 2020 should confirm the examination centre.
II. Confirmation / Change of Examination Centre
1. The default examination centre of every candidate is his/her institution of study.
III. Attendance Requirements
1. In wake of the Covid 19 scenario, relaxation on the attendance requirements is made for the registration to April 2020 examinations.
2. All regular candidates on rolls, who have made the semester registration are permitted to register for the examination.
3. This relaxation in attendance requirements is a onetime relaxation for April 2020 examinations.
IV. Issue of Hall Tickets
1. All eligible candidates who have completed the registration with in the permitted period shall be issued the hall tickets.
2. The hall tickets shall be provided at the candidate’s login, from where the candidate can take the printout.
3. The hall ticket will be marked with the default centre/ newly opted centre as the Examination centre.
4. Candidate should produce the institution identity card / a government issued identity card as the proof of identity along with the hall ticket. The hall ticket will be valid only if produced with such an identity card.
V. Examination
1. The examinations under Revision (2015) scheme for Sixth Semester – S6 (Regular / Supplementary) and Supplementary examinations for all other semesters (S5, S4, S3, S2, S1) will be conducted from the first week of June 2020 in the first schedule.
2. Examinations under Revision (2010) scheme and the Regular examinations under Revision (2015) scheme for Fourth Semester – S4 and Second Semester –S2, are not included in the first schedule but will be scheduled later.

All the Polytechnic Colleges in the State of Kerala (Government/ Aided/ Self financing) are the examination centers for Revision 2010 & 2015 Schemes. Time table will be published in the website www.tekerala.org.
All the aspirants studying various Diploma, Polytechnic, Engineering courses in various Government, Private, and Aided colleges across Kerala can check the date sheet from the TEKERALA official website, tekerala.org. The date sheet will be released for various disciplines Civil, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, and other streams. TEKERALA Odd/Even Semester examinations for 1st sem, 2nd Sem, 3rd sem, 4th Sem, 5th Sem and 6th sem exams will be held in various examination centers across the state as per the scheduled date sheet. Aspirants can check the theory and practical exam dates for June examinations, which are going to commence in June 2020. After downloading the date sheet, students can check the examination dates clearly from it and take a printout of it to refer it further.
If any day is declared as a holiday during the above period, examination will not be cancelled without the official communication from the Office of the Controller of Technical Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram.
There will be a Cool off time of 10 minutes at the beginning of each examination, 9am / 1pm / 2pm as the case may be.
The Mercy chance Examination will be conducted at Central Polytechnic College, Vattiyoorkavu Trivandrum, Govt. Polytechnic College, Kalamassery and Kerala Government Polytechnic College, Kozhikkodu.

3. University Lr. No. JNTUK/DAA/B I/Dues /2019-20 dated 28-10-2019 and 21.11.2019.
The A.P. Higher Education Department (UE) department vide GO. No. 15 vide ref. I cited in pursuance of the resolutions of the A.P. Higher Education Regulatory and Monitory Commission (APHERMC) recommended the fee structure for private un-aided professional institutions offering B.Tech courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The details of the Tuition fee and Special fee structure for graduate engineering (B.Tech) courses in private un-aided professional courses for the year 2019-20 permitted to collect from students with details of amounts to be remitted to the affiliating university along with the fee structure recommended by the government to respective institutes based on the details submitted by the institutes and evaluation of the reports are furnished.
Government of A.P. has also cleared the payments pertaining to the dues payable to the institutes under “Jagananna Vidhya Deevena – Fee reimbursement scheme” announced to the students and the guidelines are furnished vide GO in Ref. 2 cited. The Principals are hereby requested to account for the possibility of any double payment to the college account and remit back such amounts to the Mothers account and give an undertaking from the college with intimation to the University, along with detailed statements.
In this regard. Hon’ble Chief Minister has invited mothers of the students to call on 1902 to raise grievance in case if they face a problem in getting the refund. Further all universities are directed to address these grievances on top priority. Under these circumstances Principals and Managements of the affiliated colleges are here by requested to follow the government directions scrupulously.
UGC : REDRESSAL OF GRIEVANCES RELATED TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC
The UGC has issued Guidelines on Examinations and Academic Calendar in view of COVID-19 Pandemic on 29th April, 2020. Accordingly, all universities have been advised to plan their academic activities keeping in view the safety and interest of all stakeholders, giving highest priority to the health of all concerned, while adopting and implementing the Guidelines.
Universities have also been requested to establish a Cell for handling grievances of the students related to examinations and other academic activities arising due to this pandemic and notify the same to the students.
Further, the UGC has undertaken the following steps to monitor the queries, grievances, and other academic matters of students, teachers, and institutions, arising due to COVID-19 pandemic:
1. A dedicated Help Line Number: 011-23236374 has been set up.
2. An email address: covidl9help.ugc@gmail.com has been created.
3. Students can also lodge their grievances on the existing Online Students Grievance Redressal Portal of UGC at https://www.umatin/
4. A Task Force has been constituted at UGC to monitor concerns/ grievances of students, teachers, and institutions, and redress them accordingly.
All the Universities and colleges are requested to upload a copy of this public notice on their official websites and also share it with the teaching and student community via e-mail and other digital media.
JNTUH Convocation Notification 2020: The IX Convocation of the JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD (JNTUH) is likely to be held in the month of May 2020 (Actual date will be notified later). The candidates who are qualified for the award of Degree/Diploma during the academic years 2018-19 & PG Degree completed or going to be completed on or before 24-02-2020 are eligible to apply.
The graduates are informed to note that Pre-IX Convocation OD service will be closed on 29-09-2020 as the IX-Convocation is scheduled to be held on 16-10-2020, Hence the graduates who received their degree in the Ay 2018-19 cannot apply for Pre-IX Convocation OD.

The eligible candidates are hereby informed to visit the Convocation Registration Portal epayments.jntuh.ac.in/convocation and submit the application online from 11-03-2020 to 29-09-2020. Those who have applied for the degree in the Pre-convocation mode need not apply again for this Notification. The application fee of Rs.600/- will be accepted through online mode only. The students who have already paid need not pay the fee, however, they have to register compulsorily. For more details refer the above mentioned Registration Portal. The Degree Certificates of all the Bachelor Degree Courses, Master Degree Courses, M.S, M.Phil & Ph.D degrees will be sent only by registered post to the individuals to the address given in their online application. Only Gold medal recipients can receive their medals in person at the Convocation. The provisional list of Gold medal recipients for academic years 2018-19 will be placed in the JNTUH website (www.jntuh.ac.in).

In continuation of the University letters cited above, it is to inform you that as per the instruction of the Government, the University has been observing the lockdown for the entire Constituent and Affiliated (Autonomous and Non-Autonomous) Colleges/ Units and class work has been suspended in the college premises till 30th April, 2020 to stop the spreading of COVID-19 pandemic. Further, it has been extended till 29th May, 2020 to stop the spreading of COVID-19 pandemic, vide G.O. Ms. No. 64 dated 07.05.2020.
In continuation to the University Lr. No. DAPO/CORRES/2020, dated 14.04.2020, all the Principals/ Directors of Constituent and Affiliated (Autonomous and Non-Autonomous) Colleges/Units are requested to continue online classes till 21.05.2020 and complete the remaining syllabi for the present academic year and share the links of relevant teaching learning resources available in various digital platforms such as SWAYAM online courses, MOOCs, ePG Pathshala, SWAYAMPRABHA, YouTube, WhatsApp etc., to the students during the lockdown period.
The examinations will be conducted after reopening the colleges. However, online classes for I Year of B.Tech/ B.Pharmacy/ M.Tech and I & II Years of M.Pharmacy/MBA/MCA may continue till 29.05.2020 to complete the syllabi.
