Osmania University Press note regarding Postponement of the Examinations 2020
In view of the prevailing situation due to spread of CORONA VIRUS and subsequent lockdown, all the Examinations of various Programs / Courses offered by Osmania University which were scheduled and which are to be scheduled as per almanacs, stands postponed and the revised dates shall be announced later.
JNTUA All Exams Postponed Upto 14th April 2020 Due to Lockdown
In of this Office circular under ref. (3) above, declaring holiday’s upto 31-03-2020 and incompliance of the GO. cited in the reference (l) Of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. I am by direction, informing that JNTUA shall remain closed for a period of 21 days with affect from 25-03-2020. As it has already been announced holidays till 31-03-2020 in compliance to G.O. cited in (2), now they are extended till 14-04-2020, to lockdown the campus and its affiliated colleges and its constituent colleges.
In view of the extension of holidays as cited all Of the university examinations scheduled, if any, during above period, have been postponed to a later date and the revised dates of the examinations shall be announced after 14-04-2020 and posted in the university official website. The students and the faculty are advised to access university website for the further information with regard to reopening and examination schedules of UG and PG, programmes.
The emergency services like health services, electricity, water supply, security, sanitation and Other essential services will work as usual by taking necessary precautionary measures.
The Principals of JNTUA Constituent Colleges and Affiliated Colleges are also informed to follow the same in strict adherence.

In continuation of the earlier circular cited in Ref-3 declaring holidays up to 31-03-2020 and in compliance of the GO. cited in the reference (2) of the Government of Andhra Pradesh. I am by direction, informing that Andhra University shall remain closed tor a period of 21 days with effect from 25.03.2020. As it has already been announced holidays till 31-03-2020 in compliance to G.O. cited in Ref-1. now they are extended till 14-04-2020, to lock down the campus and its affiliated colleges.
In view of the extension of Holidays as cited above, all of the University Examinations scheduled, if any during the above period, have been postponed to a Later date and the revised dates of examinations shall be announced after 14-04-2020 and hosted in the university official website. The students and faculty are advised to access university website for further information with regard to reopening and examination schedules of both PG & Professional Courses.
The emergency services like health services, electricity, water supply, security, sanitation and other essential services will work as usual by taking necessary precautionary measures.

All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State are informed that as a precautionary measure to counter the spread of novel corona virus (COVID-19) the State of Andhra Pradesh has been under lockdown for 21 days i.e from 25.03.2020 to 14.04.2020 and it is not feasible to conduct Annual Examinations (Summative Assessment II) for the Students of Classes VI to IX.
Therefore, it is decided to cancel the Summative Assessment II Examinations for the Classes VI to IX and declare the students of Classes VI to IX as “ALL PASS“
కరోనా వైరస్ వ్యాప్తి నేపథ్యంలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం మరో కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. 6 నుంచి 9వ తరగతి విద్యార్థులు పరీక్షలు రాయకుండానే పై తరగతులకు వెళ్లేలా అవకాశం కల్పించింది. ఈ మేరకు రాష్ట్ర విద్యాశాఖ మంత్రి ఆదిమూలపు సురేష్ గురువారం మీడియా సమావేశంలో ప్రకటించారు. రాష్ట్రంలో కరోనా వ్యాప్తి నేపథ్యంలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్ జగన్మోహన్రెడ్డి ఆదేశాల మేరకు ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు మంత్రి వెల్లడించారు.
ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితుల్లో పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించడం శ్రేయస్కరం కాదని, అది విద్యార్థులకు, అధికారులకు కూడా మంచిది కాదని మంత్రి తెలిపారు. (రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలను ఉద్దేశించి మాట్లాడనున్న సీఎం జగన్) అలాగే పదో తరగతి పరీక్షలను ఇప్పటికే వాయిదా వేసిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఈనెల 31న జరిగే సమీక్ష తరువాత పదోతరగతి పరీక్షలు షెడ్యూల్ను విడుదల చేస్తామని మంత్రి ప్రకటించారు.
దీనిపై విద్యార్థులు ఎలాంటి ఆందోళనలకు గురికావద్దని సూచించారు. కాగా కరోనా వైరస్ రిత్యా పాఠశాలలు మూతపడి ఉన్నందున పిల్లకు నేరుగా వారి ఇళ్లకే మధ్యాహ్న భోజనం అందించాలని విద్యాశాఖ అధికారులు నిర్ణయించారు. వాలంటీర్ల ద్వారం విద్యార్థులకు మధ్యాహ్యా భోజనాన్ని అందించనున్నారు. అంతకుముందు విద్యాశాఖ అధికారులతో సీఎం జగన్ సమీక్షా సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. భోజన పంపిణీ సమయంలో పూర్తి జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని సీఎం జగన్ అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. మధ్యాహ్న భోజనం అన్ని చోట్లా ఒకే క్వాలిటీ మెయింటైన్ చేయాలని, అలాగే గోరుముద్ద అనే కార్యక్రమాన్ని పకడ్బందీగా అమలు చేయాలని సూచించారు. ఈ పథకాన్ని మరింత బలోపేతం చేయడానికి పూర్తి చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
All the Principals of Affiliated Colleges and JNTUA CE, Kalikiri are hereby informed that as per the University direction, the examination schedules will be informed after reviewing the situation w.r.t. COVID-19 on 31.03.2020.
In this regard, the notifications already issued for Pharm.D III Year Regular & Supplementary Examinations, April 2020 dated 09.04.2020 and B.Tech & B.Pharm IV Year II Semester Regular & Supplementary Examinations, April 2020 dated on 16.04.2020 are postponed and the new dates will be informed late

AP 10th Class Exams 2020 Postponed: AP Govt has Postponed 10th Class (SSC) examinations commence from 31st March Due to Covid 19. Education Minister Adimulapu suresh has announced the postponement of AP 10th class examinations to be held from March 31. He said the exams would be postponed for two weeks. JNTUH Postponement of Last Date for University Examination Registrations 2020
The students of UG (B.Tech and B.Pharm) and PG (M.Tech, M.Pharm, MBA and MCA) are informed to note that the prevailing deadlines for registrations of University exams have been postponed. The revised last dates for fees payment with / without late fee shall be intimated after resuming the academic activities in the University.
Hence the students need not go to their respective colleges for fee payment/ exam related enquires, during these lock-down days.
