Sub: JNTUH, Hyderabad – Directorate of Academic & Planning – COVID-19 (Corona virus) – Closure of Professional Colleges in Telangana State – Availment of Coursera’s online Courses until July 31, 2020.

JNTUH (JNTU-Hyderabad): The Commissioner of Technical Education, Govt. of Telangana, Nampally, Hyderabad, stated that the Coursera is a reputed global online learning platform, offering 100% online Degrees and Certificates, in partnership with Yale University, Illinois University, Columbia University, ISB, IBM, INTEL etc.

All are aware for the present situation i.e. the spreading of COVID- 19 and the potential impact of the outbreak of the Pandemic, due to which Universities / Professional Colleges offering Courses in Engineering/ Pharmacy/MBA/MCA are closed down in Telangana State.

Under the circumstances stated above and in pursuance of advice of the Commissioner of Technical Education, the Vice-chancellor is pleased to inform all the Principals of all the Constituent and Affiliated Colleges offering Professional Courses in Engineering / Pharmacy / MBA / MCA in Telangana State to sign-up to Coursera (www.coursera.org), to provide their enrolled students with free access to more than 3,800 Courses and (400) Specializations from Coursera’s top University and Industry partners. These institutions will have free access until July 31, 2020, after which the Coursera plans to provide month-to-month extensions depending on prevailing risk assessments.

In view of the above, all the Principals of Constituent and Affiliated Colleges (Autonomous and Non Autonomous) of JNTUH are requested to sign-up to Coursera (www.coursera.org) to provide your enrolled students with free access to more than 3,800 Courses and (400) Specializations from Coursera’s top University and Industry partners.

About University: Kakatiya University was established on 19th August, 1976 to fulfil the aspirations of the Telangana people for higher education. TS 10th Class Exams 2020 Postponed: Telangana 10th Class (SSC) Examinations March 2020 are postponed. The court has ordered the rescheduled examination of the exams to be held from 23rd to 30th March, 2020. The exam which is scheduled for tomorrow (21st March) will be held as per schedule.

కరోనా ఎఫెక్ట్ తెలంగాణలో పదవతరగతి పరీక్షలపై పడింది. పరీక్షలు వాయిదా వేయాలని హైకోర్ట్ ఆదేశించింది. కరోనా నియంత్రణకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం పకడ్బందీ చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోంది. సీఎం కేసీఆర్ ఎప్పటికప్పుడూ పరిస్థితిని సమీక్షిస్తూ అధికారులకు దిశానిర్దేశం చేస్తున్నారు. అయితే, హైకోర్ట్ మాత్రం పిల్లల ఆరోగ్యం రీత్యా పరీక్షలు వాయిదా వేయాలని ఆదేశించింది. కరోనా వ్యాప్తిని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొని ఈ నెల 23 నుంచి 30 వరకు జరగాల్సిన పరీక్షలన్నీ రీషెడ్యూల్ చేయాలని కోర్టు ఆదేశించింది. రేపు జరగాల్సిన పరీక్ష యధాతదంగా నిర్వహించాలని కోర్టు తెలిపింది.

ఈ నెల 19 నుంచి పదో తరగతి పరీక్షలు ప్రారంభమయ్యాయి. తెలుగుకు సంబంధించిన రెండు పేపర్లు పూర్తయ్యాయి.శనివారం హిందీ పేపర్ రాయాల్సి వుంది. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 2,530 కేంద్రాల్లో 5.34 లక్షల మందికి పైగా విద్యార్థులు పరీక్షలు రాస్తున్నారు. కరోనా వ్యాప్తి నేపథ్యంలో పరీక్షా కేంద్రాల వల్ల శుభ్రతకు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇచ్చారు. విద్యార్ధినీ, విద్యార్ధులకు హ్యాండ్ శానిటైజర్లు అందుబాటులో వుంచారు. పరీక్ష కేంద్రాల్లో అన్ని సదుపాయాలు ఏర్పాటుచేశామని, తల్లిదండ్రులు భయపడాల్సింది లేదని అధికారులు తెలిపారు. అయితే హైకోర్టు ఆదేశాలతో పరీక్షలు వాయిదా వేయక తప్పలేదు.

ఈ నెల 30 నుంచి ఏప్రిల్ 6 వరకూ జరగాల్సిన పరీక్షలపై పరిస్థితిని బట్టి నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని సూచించింది. కరోనా వైరస్ వున్నా పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించడాన్ని సవాల్ చేస్తే హైకోర్టులో పిల్ వేశారు. దీనిని అత్యవసరంగా భావించిన హైకోర్టు వెంటనే విచారణ జరిపింది. కరోనా భయంతో పిల్లలు పరీక్షలు ప్రశాంతంగా రాసే పరిస్థితులు లేవని పిటిషనర్ తరఫున న్యాయవాది పవన్ కుమా్ వాదించారు. వాదనల అనంతరం పరీక్షలు ఈనెల 30 వరకూ వాయిదా వేయాలని ఆదేశించింది.

AP SBTET POSTPONEMENT OF DIPLOMA EXAMINATIONS WHICH ARE GOING TO BE HELD IN MAR/APR-2020 IN VIEW OF COVID-19.

Sub: SBTET – Containment, Control and Prevention of Spread of COVID-19 – Board Diploma Examinations scheduled from 30/31-03-2020 – Postponement – Intimation – Reg.

With reference to the above subject and reference cited 2 above, the Government has issued orders to close all Educational Institutions with immediate effect up to 31-03-2020 and all hostels and boarding facilities for students/trainees should be evacuated immediately.
