ANU Postponement of Degree Exams March 2020 due to Covid -19
Keeping in view of the Election Schedule of Rural and Urban local bodies 2020, the Vice-Chancellor has ordered to reschedule the U.G. Exams March, 2020 schedule as noted below; and the examination timings are as usual as noted in the Hall-tickets.

As the Government Order cited above, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued instructions to close all the Educational Institutions (including the Hostels) in the State of Andhra Pradesh till 31.03.2020 as a precautionary measure to prevent and to contain the spread of COVID-19. Accordingly, all the JNTUA Constituent Colleges and Units, All the affiliated Colleges of JNTUA (Both Autonomous and Non-Autonomous), Hostels, Libraries and other Offices/Units shall remain closed with immediate effect till 31.03.2020.
All the students in the Hostels of JNTUA are informed to make arrangements to leave Hostels and reach home henceforth. The Principals shall follow the guidelines given in the GO. while vacming the students from the Hostels and spread awareness among them about the precautions to take at home. The students, Teaching and Non-teaching staff, and the Outsourcing staff are advised to stay home and follow all the precautions as given by the Government to contain the spread of COVID- 19.
The emergency services like Power House, Water Supply, Sanitation, Security and Medical and Health services will work as usual following all the precautions.
The following decisions are taken in the emergency meeting of the Officials of the University held on 19.03-2020 at 10.30 am:
1. All Constituent Units of JNTUA aml affliated Institutions (Both Autonomous and Non-Autonomous) including Hostels will closed till 31st March, 2020 as per the Government orders
2. The situation will be reviewed on 31.03.2020. The Examinaticms schedule and Summer vacation schedule will be informed to all after that review.
3. Latest information and updates will be made available in JNTUA Web portal.
Andhra University declare Holidays upto 31-03-2020: As per the GO. cited. the Government Of Andhra Pradesh has issued instructions to prevent and contain spread or COVID 19 in the State Of Andhra Pradesh. In this regard. I am by direction inform that Andhra University declare holidays upto 31-03-2020. Accordingly, Andhra University Constituent Colleges, Hostels, Library (including Reading Room) and all other offices/units shall remain closed with immediate effect up to 31-03-2020.
All the students and Research Scholars or A.U Campus are informed to make arrangements to leave hostels and reach home henceforth. The Students. Research Scholars. Teaching and Non-teaching Staff are advised to Stay at home and observe precautionary measures during the above period to contain spread of COVID-19 in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
The emergency services like Power House. Water Supply, Security, Sanitary, Health Centres and other essential services will work as usual by taking necessary precautionary measures.
The Principals of A.U Affiliated Colleges are also informed to follow the same in strict adherence.

AP Government Declares Holidays for All Educational Institutions i.e schools, colleges, Universities, coaching centers from 19th march due to Carona virus preventive measures.
As part of precautionary measures to contain the spread of Corona Virus, the AP government has declared holidays to all types of educational institutes, coaching centers and summer camps From 19th March. No ending date was announced yet and will announced soon after under control of Covid 19.
కరోనా ప్రభావంతో ఏపీ సర్కార్ కీలక నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకోంటోంది. కరోనా నియంత్రణ చర్యల్లో భాగంగా గురువారం నుంచి అన్ని విద్యాసంస్థల్ని మూసివేయాలంటూ ప్రభుత్వం ఆదేశాలు జారీచేసింది. కేవలం స్కూళ్లు, కళాశాలలేకాకుండా.. యూనివర్సిటీలు, కోచింగ్ సెంటర్లను మూతపడనున్నాయి.

కరోనా ఆందోళన నేపథ్యం మలేషియాలో చిక్కుకున్న తెలుగు విద్యార్థులు బుధవారం రాత్రికి విశాఖపట్నం చేరుకున్నారు. ఫిలిప్పీన్స్‌లో మెడిసిన్‌ చదువుతున్న విద్యార్ధులు ఇండియాకు వచ్చేందుకు బయలుదేరి మలేషియా చేరకున్నారు. అక్కడ కరోనా ఆందోళనతో వారు స్వదేశానికి రావడానికి ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొన్నారు. విద్యార్థులు మలేషియాలో చిక్కుకుపోవడంతో వారి కుటుంబాల్లో ఆందోళన నెలకొంది. దీంతో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం తెలుగు విద్యార్థుల గోడును కేంద్రం దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లింది. తెలుగు విద్యార్థులను స్వదేశానికి తరలించేందుకు వైఎస్సార్‌సీపీ ఎంపీ విజయసాయిరెడ్డి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వంతో ఎప్పటికప్పుడు చర్చలు జరిపారు.
Telangana Rythu Runa Mafi 2020 Eligibility List, Status in Telugu: Telangana State Government has declared that the Government will clear the debts of farmers under Rs one lakh. The Government has declared that irrespective of the farmer’s lands, number of debts, the Government is going to offer the runa mafi up to 1 lakh. The gold loans taken for agriculture will be cleared by the government. The Government is planning to implement the runa mafi scheme by sorting out the eligible farmer’s list within 30 days.
To solve the agricultural issues, complaints will be collected in mandal, Zilla, and state level, a special department is going to be allotted. After receiving complaints, within 30 days the concerned issues will be solved.
In-state of Telangana, the agricultural loans are taken after 1st April 2014 will only be considered for the runa mafi. As of now, the Government has cleared loads of farmers until 31st March 2014. Now, the Government is intending to consider the loans of the farmers from 1st April 2014.
The farmers must have taken the loans after 1st April 2014 or if they had taken earlier, the old debt must be renewed. If the old debts are not renewed, the runa mafi scheme will not be applied.
To implement the Rythu Runa Mafi scheme, the Agriculture commission will launch an exclusive portal. In which, the list of eligible farmer’s names will be specified. From each village, the list of farmers having debts below Rs 1 lakh as on 11th December 2018 will be collected from the banks.
The list to be prepared by the agriculture commission; which consisting the details of farmer’s names, gold loans, and crop loans. The list will be helpful to implement the runa mafi scheme.
Many of the farmers have taken agriculture loans from various banks on the names of their family members. To shortlist the eligible farmers for the runa mafi, the agriculture committee is going to gather the list of eligible farmers mandal-wise and compare the names to prepare a final list. Tahsildar has to examine the list prepared by the agriculture committee. A clear observation will be done on the duplicate documents and passbooks of the farmers. Farmers having the original passbooks will only be considered for the runa mafi. Cooperative Department Auditors are going to release the eligible farmer’s list district-wise after cross-checking all the details. After that, the complete list of eligible farmers will be sent to the agriculture commissioner office. The final list will be issued for all the branches in the mandal.
Village revenue officer, Village Agriculture Extension Officer, Panchayat Secretary, Tahsildar, Mandal Agriculture officer, MDOs will form a committee in mandal-level to observe the details of each farmer and his family details concerned to the loans.
AU Distance Education Notification 2020: Andhra University Distance Education has released 1st, 2nd, 3rd Year BA, B.Com, B.Sc Notification 2020.
Examination applications are invited from the students of School of Distance Education for the Academic year 2019-20. Last date for receipt of examination applications is 13-04-2020.
The Students of academic year batch will only be supplied with the examinations applications by post and the students, who are not on rolls presently, have to download applications from our website. Incomplete and defective appplications will summarily be rejected.
NOTE : Students shall ascertain the changes in the syllabi, if any, from the nearest Study Centre of School of Distance Education and prepare for the examinations accordingly.
AP Intermediate Exam Know Your Seat: Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh is going to conduct the Intermediate Public examinations from 4th March. The Board of Intermediate has made all the arrangments to provide a secure environment for the understudies to write the examination. Also, the security has been tightened to prevent malpractice and undesirable events. Intermediate examinations will be held until 23rd March. Examinations will be conducted in morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM. A total of 411 examination centers are allotted in Andhra Pradesh. This year massively, 10,65,156 students are going to attend the Intermediate examination. In which, 9,96,023 students are general category, and 69,133 students are from the vocational category.
The AP Inter board has responded to the complaints from the students regarding the issue of the halt of hall tickets from their respective institutions if they do not clear the fee. The private institutes are insisting the students that their hall tickets will not be issued if they do not clear the complete fee. In this regard, students have complained to the AP Intermediate board. To solve this issue, the AP Intermediate Board has released the hall tickets online, students can directly get their hall tickets from the BIEAP website. There is no need for Principal sign on the hall ticket. Students can directly attend the examinations if they are having the e-hall ticket.

Also, the AP Intermediate Board has earlier released a special app to provide the information of the examination centers. The board has introduced one more feature ‘Know Your Seat’. with this, students can check where exactly their seat is located in the examination room. Students can download their hall tickets from the BIEAP official website, BIE.AP.GOV.IN. Besides the download option, students can also find the ‘Know Your Seat’ option. Students can avail of this service from 3rd March 8 PM onwards.
The Intermediate Board has taken all precautions to avoid malpractice and other disturbances. The board is going to arrange the CCTV Cameras in each room of the examination. Also, the board is going to monitor the examination live streaming process through webcasting. Taskforce teams are arranged for each Zilla. The invigilators must have to open the question paper bundle seal before the CC TV. Electronic gadgets and mobile phones will not be allowed into the examination hall.

With reference to the subject & ref. cited above, as per the G.0 Rt. No. 4 Revenue (Disaster Management- II) Dept, Dt. 14-03-2020 read with Govt. Memo No. 1215/MC/A1/2020, Higher Education (MC) Dept. dt. 15-03- 2020, where in the Government has issued certain precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Corona virus (Covid-19) that all the Govt/ Aided / Private and 2nd Shift Polytechnics in Engineering Colleges in Telangana State shall remain closed till 31-03-2020.
