JEE Main Exam 8th January 2020 Postponed or Not? The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020 will be held from January 6 to 9, 2020, and the Paper-II will be held on April 3 to 9, 2020.

The Central Trade Unions, All India Congress Trade Union Cong (IATUC), Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), Central Industrial Trade Union (CITU) and Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS), and various other organizations have decided to perform the strike on 8th January Nationwide. Around 25 lakh people will be participating in the Bharat Bandh on 8th January. The unions are going to perform the strike to demand rights and facilities of workers, against the privatization of public sector units, among other things.

Live Updates – The Central Trade Unions have declared the Bharat Bandh on 8th January 2020. Due to this reason, the prescheduled examinations are likely to be postponed. On 8th January, 3 major examinations were scheduled to be held. JEE Main 2020, UPTET 2020, and ICAR ASRB NET 2020 exams were scheduled to be held on 8th January 2020. While the ICAR announced that the ASRB NET examination will be held on 11th January. Yet, there no confirmed news about the other 2 examinations. The NTA has to announce whether the JEE Main 2020 will be conducted on the same date or not. No update about JEE Main 2020 Exam on 8th January

Currently, NTA has not issued any clarification or notification about changes in the JEE Main 2020 schedule. JEE Main 2020 engineering entrance exam is currently going on for the January session. With Bharat Bandh scheduled for tomorrow, NTA is yet to issue any clarification about postponement or cancellation of JEE Main Exam for tomorrow.

In a related development, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has would not stretch out help to the strike, which is planned for tomorrow. However, Tamil Nadu’s Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) have chosen to back the strike on January 8. Due to this some colleges/Universities have been postponed the exams scheduled on 8th January 2020.

“The Central Trade Unions conveyed their firm resolve after the meeting called by Union Labour Minister (on Thursday). The general strike on January 8, 2020 stands,” a joint statement issued by the 10 central trade unions said.

As indicated by DMK president MK Stalin, “the BJP-led government at the Centre is focussed on snatching the workers’ rights instead of protecting them”.

The Shiv Sena will also join the proposed all-India strike on January 8. Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said: “Many of you are astonished to see me here, but this is in solidarity with the cause of the workers of this country. In the past five years, the government has initiated many anti-labour policies which we strongly oppose.”

In an announcement, the All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) general secretary CH Venkatachalam had last month said that workers of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), co-usable Banks, Regional Rural Banks (RRB), and Life Insurance Corporation of India and General Insurance sector will likewise join the strike.

Jawaharlal Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) has released the B.Pharmacy 3-2, 4-2 Semester 1st Mid Examination Time Tables January 2020.

For theory subjects, during the semester there shall be 2 tests. Each test consists of 20 minutes duration objective “On Line” exam for 10 marks. Each Objective question paper shall contain 20 objective type questions for 10 marks. This examination is conducted “on line” to train the student for on line examinations such as GRE, GMAT etc.

  • Based on 12th class syllabus, entrance examination will be conducted in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
  • Entrance examination will be conducted only by computer based mode.
  • Permitting a candidate to appear for the Entrance Examination-2020 or counselling does not entitle the right for admission.
  • Candidates who have been offered Provisional Admission after counselling should submit the relevant original documents, such as SSLC Mark Sheet, HSC Mark sheet, Transfer Certificate, etc. to the Institution at the time of admission. If not, the admission will stand cancelled.
  • After the admission, at a later point of time if any discrepancy or malpractice is noticed in the submitted documents, the candidate’s admission will be cancelled by the Institution.

Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with first class / grade either in March/April, 2020 or should be appearing for the same in March/April, 2020. In addition to this, candidates should have passed the 10th class or Equivalent Examination in March/April 2018 or after with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks or “6.0” CGPA.
