Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates to appear for Typewriting and Shorthand examinations to be conducted during SEPTEMBER, 2019. The Principals of Typewriting and Shorthand Institutes which are recognised by the Department of Technical Education, Telangana state (for the calendar years 2018-19, 2019 and 2019-20) are alone eligible to sponsor the candidates for the Typewriting and Shorthand Examinations scheduled to be held in SEPTEMBER, 2019 and private candidates are informed to carefully go through the instructions given below before filling the applications.

(a) Typewriting Lower and Higher Grade Examinations both in English and Telugu will be conducted in 4 batches.

(b) Typewriting Urdu both Lower and Higher Grade Examinations will be conducted in one batch each at Hyderabad only in view of very less number of candidates appearing for these examinations.

(c) Typewriting Hindi both Lower and Higher Grade Examinations will be conducted in two batches each in view of very less number of candidates appearing for these examinations.

(d) Totally blind candidates are also permitted for Typewriting Examinations. Separate Typewriting Question Paper in BRAILLE LANGUAGE will be given to totally blind candidates.

(e) The candidates must apply through a recognised Typewriting Institution in Telangana State in case of first appearance for any of the above mentioned examinations (any language or any grade). Subsequently one can appear privately by entering previous Hall Ticket number. Shorthand, candidates can appear directly by applying online at sbtet.telangana.gov.in

(f) Govt. Employees appearing for the examination shall seek permission from their employer for appearing the examination. Instructions mentioned in the notification should be strictly adhered to.

(g) The Typewriting & Shorthand Examinations will be conducted during the month of SEPTEMBER, 2019 on 21-09-2019 & 22-09-2019 and 26-09-2019 & 27-09-2019. Commencement of online application and instructions (how to file the online application) will be placed in the SBTET websites i.e., www.sbtet.telangana.gov.in.

The candidates whose Register Numbers are mentioned below have been provisionally admitted to the Oral Test for appointment by direct recruitment to the Posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination- I (Group – I Services) based on the results of the Main Written Examination conducted by the Commission on 12.07.2019 FN, 13.07.2019 FN & 14.07.2019 FN. The Oral Test will be held from 23/12/2019 to 31/12/2019 at the office of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC Road, Chennai-600 003. The candidates should attend the Oral Test with all original certificates in support of the claims made in their online applications. Individual Communication regarding the date and time of Oral Test will not be sent to the candidates by post. 1. Mere inclusion of the Register Numbers of candidates in the above list will not imply that the candidature has been fully considered for Oral Test.

2. The candidates whose Register numbers are found in the above list have been admitted provisionally to the Oral Test based on the marks obtained by them in the Main Written Examination and with reference to rule of reservation of appointments.

3. The admission of candidates to Oral Test is provisional subject to verification and acceptance of the claim in their online applications towards age, educational qualification, community, Differently abled category and PSTM etc., through original documents. If any of their claims are found to be false or incorrect, their online applications will be rejected, provisional admission to Oral Test will be cancelled and they will not be admitted to the next stage of selection.

Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik, on Friday, awarded laptops to meritorious students of Class 12 for the 2019-20 academic session. Under the ‘Biju Sashaktikaran Yojana’, a total of 9491 students from the General category, 5509 students from the SC/ST categories were selected to receive the award. The first 10 students were handed over the devices by the Chief Minister himself.

Guideline for providing free laptop to +2 passes out meritorious students in the State under State youth Policy.

(i) The meritorious students who pass +2 level from CHSE, Odisha would be eligible to receive laptop under the scheme. The Vocational students passing from CHSE (O) and Upshastri students passing from Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri are also eligible to receive Laptops from 2015-16.

(ii) Merit list of 15000 candidates for this purpose shall be drawn on the basis of the marks scored in CHSE exam in respective streams & Upshastri Exam.

(iii) Laptops would be distributed in 30 Nodal Centers (list enclosed).

(iv) The I.T Dept. will deliver the laptops to respective Principals of the nodal Colleges.

(v) The Principals of the 30 Nodal Centers shall distribute the laptops to the students out of the approval list.

(vi) The Principals of these Nodal Centers shall appoint one dedicated and reliable teacher of the college who shall be responsible for the safe keeping and smooth distribution of laptops.

(vii) Govt. have approved a committee at the District level with the following members to monitor the entire process. (19171/HE/24.07.2013).

1. District Collector : Chairperson

2. Principal of Nodal College: Convenor

3. Teacher of Nodal College in Charge of Laptops : Member

(viii) The Principal of Nodal Colleges may appoint more officials to assist him/her for safe keeping and smooth distribution of laptops.

(ix) The list of eligible students of the respective Nodal Centres available on the website of the Higher Education Department.

(x) Before distribution the laptop to the beneficiary student, the Principal of the concerned Nodal Center shall ensure the authenticity of the student by keeping a certificate of identification from the concerned Principal/Head of the institution from where the students has passed along with original Admit Card of CHSE/College identity Card.

(xi) In case, a student is unable to receive by person, in that case delivery of laptop to respective student can be made basing on authorization letter given by such student with justified ground and countersigned by the concerned Principal/ Head of the institution from where the student has passed. The person who will receive the laptop on behalf of the student will have to submit the identity proof (Voter ID/PAN Card/ Adhar Card/ Driving License/BPL card /Bank Pass Book with photographs).

(xii) After handing over the laptops at the Nodal Centres, IT officer or any person, authorized by OCAC shall give a certificate in the following format.

“Certified that ________nos. of HP laptops delivered at ______________________ nodal central, have been checked by a team of I.T. experts at OCAC, Bhubaneswar and found to be O.K. After delivery to the students, If found defective, action will be taken by the IT dept. to replace/repair these instruments.

(xiii) At the time of receiving the laptops from the authorized person of IT Dept., the Officer-In- Charge of laptop shall count the number of laptops Physically. If it is huge in number, then he may take the assistance of other teachers, duly approved by the Principal.

(xiv) After receipt of laptops at the center, the receiving officer will give certificate of acknowledgement as given below.

“Consequent upon the certificate furnished by the designated person of the I.T. Dept. _______________ no of HP Laptops were received at the nodal center on ____________________at ___AM/PM”.

(xv) At each stage of handed over and taken over of Laptops physically, it shall be accompanied by an “ Acknowledgment” by students to Principals of Nodal Centre and Nodal Centre Official to IT Department Officials or their authorized persons.

OSSTET Online Application 2019: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appearing at the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test(OSSTET) 2019 as per the following guidelines:-

1. Applications shall be received through ONLINE mode only on visiting the Link (website) “www.osstet.co.in”

2. ONLINE link will be available (24 X 7) from 07.12.2019 12.00 Noon till of midnight of 16.12.2019.

3. The payment of Fee and submission of Forms shall be done through online mode latest by 11.59 pm of 16.12.2019.

4. 6. Under no circumstances the last date for submission of application forms shall be extended.

OSSTET 2019 Notification

The Govt. of Odisha vide Resolution No.-18618/ SME, Bhubaneswar Dtd.-17/09/2016 have prescribed guidelines for conducting Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET). After careful consideration, the Govt. have decided that, to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the secondary schools of the state, one should pass teacher eligibility test and accordingly, the following guidelines have been framed for conduct of the Teacher Eligibility Test called OSSTET in the State.

1. The Teacher Eligibility Test shall be called “ODISHA SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST” (OSSTET).

2. OSSTET shall be conducted once in a year or as decided by the Government as per need.

3. The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has been designated as the professional body for conducting OSSTET. Detailed procedure for conducting OSSTET and instruction for carrying out the examination shall be issued by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha.

The application form for OSSTET shall also be prescribed by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha and submission of application form shall be in online mode.

4. Applicability

OSSTET shall be applicable to all candidates who possess requisite academic and training qualifications with requisite percentage of marks as prescribed in the Resolution No.- 18618/ SME, Bhubaneswar Dtd.-17/09/2016 of the Govt. of Odisha in Department of School & Mass Education, or are in the process of acquiring the requisite training qualification (in the final year of Training Course or appearing / have appeared in the training examination but results awaited) as on the date of publication of the advertisement for the OSSTET and desire to become teachers in Secondary Schools i.e Govt./ Aided/ Recognised Unaided Secondary Schools in the State of Odisha.

OSSTET 2020 Eligibility

A. General Eligibility

He or she must be a citizen of India.

B. Ability to Read and Write Odia.

The candidate must be able to read and write in Odia. Any one of the following qualification will be taken into consideration to ascertain this ability of the candidate.

(a) He/ she must have passed HSC Examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha or an equivalent examination conducted by any other State Board or Central Board (like CBSE, ICSE) with Odia as a language subject i.e. First/ Second or Third Language.

(b) He/ She must have passed +2/ Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha with Odia as an examination subject.

(c) He must have passed Odia Examination of HSC/ 10th Standard Single Subject Examination conduct by the B.S.E., Odisha.

In case the candidate desire to be language teacher like Hindi/ Classical Teachers (Sanskrit/ Telugu/ Urdu), passing Odia Examination of 07th Standard conducted by B.S.E., Odisha shall be
allowed.

C. Requisite Academic and Professional Qualification

The examination will be conducted in two different parts for the prospective teachers in two different categories such as :-

Category I :- Education Teachers (Trained Graduate Teachers in Science/ Arts, Hindi/ Classical Teacher (Sanskrit/ Urdu/ Telgu).

Category II :- Physical Education Teacher.
