3) As result of candidates for Preliminary Written Examination was declared on information submitted by them without any verification, all the candidates are informed that their participation in recruitment i.e. PMT/PET will depend upon their production of all original certificates including SSC Certificate, Educational Qualification Certificates, Community Certificates, Nativity Certificate, Ex-Servicemen Certificates and all other certificates, which makes them eligible for age relaxation or reservation. In case it is found that result of Preliminary Written Examination is not supported by relevant Community certificate or Ex-Servicemen certificate, the candidate will not be allowed to participate in PMT/PET and his candidature will be rejected. No request for extension of time for production of original certificates will be entertained. Similarly, no request for change of centre for PMT/PET will be entertained as it is linked with Biometric data verification captured during written examination. The Call Letter for PMT/PET can be downloaded from 17.01.2019 at 11.00 AM to 20-01-2019 at 05.00 PM from website “slprb.ap.gov.in”.

Candidates will also have to submit copy of Online Application Form-II in which they have to submit Range Preferences and other details which were not submitted in the first Online Application. The Stage-II Online Application Form will be available in the above website from 09.01.2019 to 14-01-2019. The candidate should fill the said Online Application Form immediately and they should bring the copy of the said Online Application Form-II while coming to attend for the PMT/PET test and submit the same to the authorities concerned.

4) Final Written Examination consisting of 4 Papers will be held on 23.02.2019 & 24.02.2019 (Tentatively) (Two Sessions on each day forenoon 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM and 02.30 PM to 05.30 PM) at 4 centres i.e. at Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, Guntur & Kurnool.

The University wishes to bring change in the examination question paper to test the understanding and creative skills of the students by adapting Blooms taxonomy. This adaptation will be done on a pilot project basis for the students of selected branches of B.Tech II year II semester. The identified branches are Civil Engg., Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical Engg., Electronic and Communication and Computer Science Engineering.

The motive of this changes is to bring a change in mindset for students, who are anticipating stereotyped questions especially relying on question banks rather than the text books. The subject teachers may be instructed to conduct the mid examinations by adapting Blooms taxonomy. If the mid and quiz examinations are conducted at college-level to the students using this method, it will be of great help to the students so that they will be ready to face the University examination in the new method using Bloom taxonomy.

A set of model question papers will be sent to the colleges. These model question paper are to be circulated among the students and faculty of B.Tech II year II semester for the branches mentioned above, for their awareness towards this change and quick adaptation to this pattern. The model question papers shall be made available in the examination portal within two weeks. If the B.Tech II year II semester subjects of other branches are common to the any of the above listed branches, the students of other branches will also have their University examination in Bloom taxonomy, for those common subjects. Postpone of Preliminary Written Test from 07-01-2019 to 08-01-2019 for the Posts of SCT PCs Civil & AR (Men & Women) and APSP (Men), Warder (Men & Women) & Firemen-2018

Earlier, your request for permission to attend Preliminary Written Test on 7th January in view of your intention to attend some other examination on 6th was accepted. Again, several requests were received from candidates to shift the date further as they have to come from far off places and the time will not be sufficient to reach the Examination Centre in time.

Hence, their grievances have been considered and now it is decided to hold the separate examination on 8th January instead of 7th. The time and the place of the examination remains the same i.e., from 10 AM to 1 PM at Kakinada. Please download your hall ticket. Education Qualification:

A degree both in Commerce and Law together with a Diploma in Taxation laws. Graduate in Economics / Education / Sociology / Statistics or Psychology and to those with Post Graduate Diploma in Social Science and Experience in Industrial / Personnel Management / Labour Welfare. for more details see the notification below.

Application Fee:

  • Registration Fee Rs. 150/-
  • Preliminary Examination Fee Rs. 100/-
  • Main Written Examination Fee Rs. 200/-

How to Apply:

  • Applicants should apply only through online mode in the Commission’s Websites www.tnpsc.gov.in / www.tnpscexams.net / www.tnpscexams.in
  • One-Time Registration (OTR) and applicant Dashboard are mandatory before applying for any post. Applicant should register only once in the One-Time Registration by paying Rs.150/- as registration fee. Successfully registered One-Time Registration is valid for 5 years from the date of Registration. All the applications should be submitted using the One-Time Registration ID and password registered by the applicant.
  • For applying in One-Time Registration, the applicants should have scanned image of their photograph, certificate wherever insisted and signature in CD/DVD/Pen Drive to upload the photo, certificate and signature.
  • Applicants who have already registered in One-Time Registration on or before 29.09.2015 shall use their existing user ID and Password to create applicants Dashboard in the new One-Time Registration system. No applicant is permitted to create more than one registration ID in One-Time Registration. For more details click the below notification.
