SELECTION PROCEDURE :

(i) The selection of candidates will be on the basis of online written test and interview/group discussion. The test will be conducted tentatively on 25.02.2018. The call letter of test will be uploaded on Bank’s website and also advised to the candidates through SMS and e mails. Candidates will be required to download the call letters. The test may be held at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bangalore, Bhopal, Raipur, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Jammu, Srinagar, Chennai, Madurai, Guwahati, Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Kolkata/Greater Kolkata, Lucknow, Varanasi, Mumbai/ Greater Mumbai/Thane/Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Dehradun, Jaipur, New Delhi/Delhi NCR, Patna, Ranchi, Ernakulam & Trivandrum centres.

CANDIDATE SHOULD CHOOSE THE NAME OF THE CENTRE WHERE HE/SHE DESIRES TO APPEAR IN THE EXAMINATION. NO CHANGE IN THE CHOICE OF EXAMINATION CENTRE WILL BE ENTERTAINED. THE BANK, HOWEVER, RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ADD OR DELETE ANY CENTRE AND ALLOT THE CANDIDATE TO ANY CENTRE OTHER THAN THE ONE HE/SHE HAS OPTED FOR.

EXAMINATION; Pattern of Test

Interview/ Group Discussion: Adequate number of candidates as decided by the Bank will be called for Interview/Group Discussion. Group Discussion will carry 20 marks and Interview 30 marks. In case Group Discussion is not held, Interview will carry 50 marks. The qualifying marks in Interview/ Group Discussion will be as decided by the Bank. Conduct of Group Discussion may be waived at the discretion of Bank.

Merit List: Marks secured by the candidates in Group Discussion / Interview out of 50 marks will be converted to out of 25 marks. The final merit list will be arrived at after aggregating the marks of Professional Knowledge test out of 100 marks and the converted marks secured in Group Discussion/ Interview out of 25 marks (Total- 125 marks). The selection will be made from the top merit ranked candidates in each category.

GENERAL INFORMATION: (i) Candidates should satisfy themselves about their eligibility for the post applied for. The Bank would admit to the online test all the candidates applying for the posts with the requisite fee on the basis of the information furnished in the online application and shall determine their eligibility only at the time of interview/group discussion.

(ii) Candidates serving in Govt./Quasi Govt. offices, Public Sector undertakings including Nationalised Banks and Financial Institutions are advised to submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer at the time of interview, failing

(iii) In case of selection, candidates will be required to produce proper discharge certificate from the employer at the time of taking up the appointment.

(iv) Caste certificate issued by Competent Authority on format prescribed by the Government of India will have to be submitted by the SC/ST candidates, if called for interview.

(v) A declaration will have to be submitted in the prescribed format by candidates seeking reservation under OBC category stating that he/she does not belong to the creamy layer as on 01.01.2018. OBC certificate containing the ‘Non-creamy layer’ clause, issued during the period 01.04.2017 to the date of interview, should be submitted by such candidates, if called for interview.

(vi) Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online well before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability/failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on internet or website jam.

(vii)SBI does not assume any responsibility for the candidates not being able to submit their applications within the last date on account of aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond the control of SBI.

(viii)Not more than one application should be submitted by a candidate. In case of multiple applications, only the last valid (completed) application will be retained and the application fee/intimation charges paid for the other registrations will stand forfeited. Multiple attendance/appearance by a candidate in online examination and/interview will be summarily rejected/ candidature cancelled.

(ix) The possibility of occurrence of some problems in the administration of the examination cannot be ruled out completely, which may impact test delivery and/or result from being generated. In that event, every effort will be made to rectify such problem, which may include the conduct of another examination if considered necessary.

(x) IN CASE IT IS DETECTED AT ANY STAGE OF RECRUITMENT THAT A CANDIDATE DOES NOT FULFIL THE ELIGIBILITY NORMS AND/OR THAT HE/SHE HAS FURNISHED ANY INCORRECT/FALSE INFORMATION OR HAS SUPPRESSED ANY MATERIAL FACT(S), HIS/HER CANDIDATURE WILL STAND CANCELLED. Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering of a Recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act (or) an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE (or) any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a Pass in Section-‘A’ & ‘B’ of A.M.I.E. examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Electrical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Assistant Engineer / Civil: 

Must possess a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering of a Recognized University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act, or a State Act (or) an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission/AICTE (or) any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto (or) a Pass in Section-‘A’ & ‘B’ of A.M.I.E. examination conducted by Institute of Engineers in Civil Engineering.

NOTE: If there is any deviation from the above qualification for the above post, the candidates shall produce the equivalency certificate from the authority issuing the qualification certificate viz Secretary of the institute / Board for accepting his/her application.

Sub-Engineer / Electrical:

Must have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or) Graduation in Electrical Engineering in addition to Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or) any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Board / United Govt. of A.P. / T.S. / India / UGC / DEC / AICTE as the case may be or the Institutions registered in united A.P. / T.S. Education Department.

NOTE: If there is any deviation from the above qualification for the above post, the candidates shall produce the equivalency certificate from the authority issuing the qualification certificate viz Registrar of the University or Secretary of the Institute for accepting his/her application.

Fee: (Remittance of fee): Each applicant must pay Rs.100/- (RUPEES ONE HUNDRED ONLY) towards Online Application Processing Fee.

This apart, the applicants have to pay Rs.120/- (RUPEES ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY ONLY) towards Examination Fee. However, the Applicants belonging to SC/ST/BC Communities and PH are exempted from payment of examination fee.

(I) Step:- Payment of Fee: The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee as per the notification as detailed above and obtain Fee paid receipt with Journal Number (12 digit) in the first instance.

(II) Step:- Submission of Application: After payment of Fee, the Candidate has to visit the website http://tstransco.cgg.gov.in to view the detailed notification, User Guide and Application Form. The applicants have to provide payment details (journal number and date) and upload the scanned copy of passport size photograph with signature (see instructions for scanning and uploading photograph with signature) and then invariably fill all the relevant fields in the Application. Immediately on submission of application, applicant will get an acknowledgement in the form of a downloadable pdf document.

SCHEME OF EXAMINATION

The written test comprising of 80 marks consisting of 80 multiple choice questions and each question carrying 1 mark. The section A consisting of 65 questions on core Diploma subject, i.e., Electrical and the section B consisting of 15 questions on General Awareness and Numerical Ability.

The duration of the written examination will be of 2 hours.

i) Syllabus: The syllabus for the written examination is placed at Annexure II.

ii) Hall Tickets: The hall tickets will be placed on the website seven days prior to the date of examination. The candidate has to down load the Hall ticket from the website only. Hall tickets will not be sent to the candidates by post.

Telangana EAMCET 2018 Question Bank With 30,000 Questions: Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has announced the Engineering Medicine Agriculture Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) examination will be held from 2nd May to 5th May (for 3 consecutive days). Earlier the EAMCET examination has been conducted in pen-paper based while the TSCHE has changed the total format of the examination and decided to conduct the examination through online. Also, earlier the examination was conducted for Agriculture and Engineering branches on same day in morning and afternoon sessions. While from 2018, the examination for Engineering and Agriculture branches will be held separately.

As per the announcement of TSCHE, not only the EAMCET but also the rest of Common Entrance Test (CET) examinations on the online basis from 2018 onwards. The EAMCET Examination will be held in 3 continues days, 2nd, 3rd and 4th of May 2018. The examination will be held in 8 sessions. For each session, 25,000 students can take up the examination. The state is making arrangements to conduct the EAMCET examination through online. Though 30,000 computers are accessible to conduct the examination for 1 session, the Government is considering only 25,000 students to appear for one session. To avoid the technical glitches, and seating adjustment problems the TSCHE has decided to precise the number of candidates per session as 25,000. The examination for Agriculture branch and Engineering branch will be held separately.

TS EAMCET New Exam Pattern 2018 – How the EAMCET Exam is going to be from this year?

The TSCHE is implementing the jumbling system in EAMCET question paper. Because of this jumbling system, students will get questions in dissimilar order. Hence it will become tough to copy. Hi-tech copying is not possible because of this jumbling system. Earlier 4 different sets were provided for the students with a different pattern of each set. From now on, the questions will be jumbled for the test.

The Telangana EAMCET 2018 Question Paper contains Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology questions in the equal ratio. And the questions will be of easy, medium, and difficult complexity levels.

TS EAMCET Question Bank with 30,000 Questions

The TSCHE has announced that they are going to release the EAMCET Question bank with 30,000 questions of all subjects and complexity levels. The question bank will be releasing for Engineering as well as Agriculture branches. The question bank is going to be the best referral for the students who are going to take part in EAMCET Examination 2018. Students can shortly avail the TS EAMCET Question Bank 2018.

Telangana CHE is going to conduct other Common Entrance Test (CET) Examinations like LAWCET, PGECET, ECET, EDCET. ICET examinations through online. Telangana EAMCET 2018: Engineering & Agriculture Exams will be held in different dates

Telangana State Higher Education Council has revealed that this year Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) examinations 2018 for Engineering & Agriculture streams will be held in different dates. The TSCHE has conducted Engineering Entrance Examination in the morning session and So far, the Agriculture entrance examination was held in the afternoon. The tests for Engineering and Agriculture were held in the same day as of now because the examinations are pen-paper based. This time, the TSCHE is going to conduct the EAMCET examination through online. The TSCHE has said that at time 30,000 students can attempt the examination. While the TSCHE is allowing only 25000 students to appear for the test at a time. Because, if any of the computers do not work at the examination time, the students will have to face a great disappointment. Remembering this, the TSCHE is going to conduct the examination for only 25,000 students at a time, though 30,000 computers are accessible.

Telangana EAMCET 2018: Engineering & Agriculture Exams will be held in different dates

The Telangana Higher Education Council has said that 50 students can complete the EAMCET examination in a single day. While last year 1,41,190 students have applied and 1,31,910 have appeared for the EAMCET examination for Engineering and Agriculture branches. The TSCHE is expecting that this year also approximately same number of students are going to appear for the examination. Hence Telangana CHE has decided to conduct the EAMCET examination for 3 days for 50,000 students a day.

As per the reports 79,061 students have applied exclusively for Agnriculture and finally 73,501 candidates have appeared for the test. If the same scenario proceeds this year, the EAMCET examination for Agriculture branch will have to be conducted for 1 and half day in 3 shifts. If the applicants count exceeds more, the examination will be conducted for 2 days in 4 shifts.

Telangana EAMCET Exam Dates 2018

The TSCHE is planning to conduct the TS EAMCET Examination from 2nd may to 5th May. While the TSCHE is likely to postpone the EAMCET examination as the AP Intermediate academic examinations were scheduled until 15th March 2018. The Telangana Higher Education is thinking to give the ample time for students to prepare for the examination. While most of the Deemed Universities are going to conduct the entrance examinations in the month of April itself.

The Telangana Engineering Agriculture courses will be starting from August 1st week. TSCHE Chairman Tummala Papi Reddy has said that the EAMCET 2018 dates will be announced shortly within one are two days.

AP Sankranthi Holidays 2018: Commissioner of School Education Andhra Pradesh government has declared that the AP Sankranthi holidays 2018 will be given from 12th January to 20th January Instead of 11th January. Earlier the CSE AP had announced that the Sankranthi holidays will be given from 11th January; while due to Janmabhumi maavooru Program, the holidays were moved to 1 day apart.

GROUP-II SERVICES NOTIFICATION NO 18/2016 RESULT NOTIFICATION FOR VERIFICATION OF ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES

It is hereby informed to the candidates that the provisional verification of original certificates of the Computer based On-line Examination held on 15/07/12017 AN and 16/07/2017 FN & AN is as follows. The candidates who picked for provisional verification of original certificates in the 1:2 ratio for the posts fallen under Group-II Services Notification No. 18/2016 will be available on the Commission’s website www.psc.ap.gov.in. The provisional verification of original certificates to the above recruitment will commence from 18/01/2018 to 01/02/2018.

APPSC Group 2 Main Exam Qualifying Marks

The minimum qualifying marks in the main examination for consideration of a candidate to the selection process in case of OC category is 40%, BC category is 35% and for SC, ST and PH categories is 30% or as per the relevant rules. The minimum qualifying mark is relaxable in the case of SC/ST/BC/PH at the discretion of the Commission.

APPSC Group 2 Main cutoff marks 2017

The APPSC is going to announce the cutoff marks along with results. The APPSC Group 2 category-wise cutoff marks for General / BC / ST/ SC and other categories. And also the APPSC will announce the APPSC Group II section-wise, overall cutoff marks 2017. Candidates can check the cutoff marks, they have to score the minimum to clear off the examination.

PROCEDURE OF SELECTION

In case screening test is conducted as referred above, based on the Merit in screening test, candidates will be picked up in the ratio of 50 per one notified post for the main examination in order of General Merit. In case where no screening test is held, all the eligible applicants would be allowed to appear for the main examination.
