CBSE : Value Education Programme for Schools: Values such as harmony, peace, compassion and humility have for centuries been a part of the discourse of every society of the world and their need and importance is universally accepted and felt. With the objective to strengthen, promote and develop cooperation in promoting Values Education, the Ramakrishna Mission, New Delhi (a branch centre of Ramakrishna Mission, P.O. Belur Math) has prepared ‘Awakened Citizen Programme’ for teachers and students. The CBSE has signed an MoU with the Ramakrishna Mission in 2014 for taking this programme to its affiliated schools.

This programme is a three year graded Values Education programme for students of class 6, 7 and 8 (or 7, 8 and 9). The Awakened Citizen Programme’ acknowledges the potential of young learners and empowers them to harness their infinite strength and goodness and provides them a path to develop into enlighten citizens. It offers a wide variety and enables them to explore and develop universal values. This Comprehensive Values Education Programme reiterates our traditional values and simultaneously emphasizes on universal values.

This programme, a Teacher Training Module for giving Value Education to students is optional and the schools desirous of adopting the ‘Awakened Citizen Programme’ for their students may visit the website www.theawakenedcitizen.org to know more about the programme’s content, approach and contact Ramakrishna Mission at values@rkmdelhi.org The Ramakrishna Mission would facilitate by providing tools, programme material and teachers’ training so that the teachers may transact the same. The schools that opt for this programme are required to allot 16 periods per year and are to be committed for a minimum period of three years. As the programme involves initial two days’ training of teachers conducted in the school, the schools desirous of enrolling into the programmes are requested to register with the Ramakrishna Mission. Apart from the initial training of teachers, Ramakrishna Mission resource persons will be available to hand-hold teachers through scheduled school visits and over telephone and email. It may be noted that this training programme of teachers can be undertaken by schools who opt for it, at their own pace, time and convenience.

The Andhra Pradesh Public Services Commission has announced the Group-I Services Re-Main written examinations results provisionally qualified for Interview for 294 candidates for 152 posts, in pursuant to Notification Nos:15/2011 & 18/2011.

The Interviews will be held from 22.01.2018 to 20.02.2018 at 10:30 AM to 05:00PM in all working days in the premises of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, R & B Building, 2nd Floor, Opp. Indira Gandhi Municipal Complex , M.G Road, (Bandar Road), Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The Individual Memo’s to the candidates qualified for interview will be sent in due course, and advised to all the candidates to touch with the APPPSC website i.e. psc.ap.gov.in in this regard.

It is hereby notified that on the basis of the Main (Written) Re-Examination held from 14/09/2016 to 24/09/2016 FN at Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Tirupathi for Group-I Services (Limited & General) Recruitment vide Notification Nos: 15/2011 dated. 30.06.2011 & 18/2011 Dt.28.11.2011, the candidates with the following Register Numbers have been provisionally admitted for the ORAL TEST (Interview) in terms and conditions of Notification Nos.15/2011 & 18/2011 which will be held from 22/01/2018 to 20/02/2018 at ANDHRA PRADESH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION, R&B BUILDING, 2nd FLOOR, M.G.ROAD (Bhander Road), OPPOSITE INDIRA GANDHI MUNICIPAL COMPLEX, VIJAYAWADA, PIN CODE – 520010. The exact dates of Oral Test (interview) for each candidate will be placed in Commission’s website shortly. Individual call letters will be sent to candidates in due course. The candidates who are provisionally qualified for interview (Oral Test) are required to produce the original Certificates at the time of verification of documents on the same day of interview, relating to Age, proof of age relaxation Qualifications, Study certificate, Integrated Community certificate in case reserved candidates, certificate of exclusion from Creamy layer in case of B.Cs from Revenue authorities in terms of G.O. Ms. No.3, Backward Classes Welfare (C-2) Department, dt.04/04/2006, P.H. certificate in case of disabled candidates etc., failing which, they will not be treated as eligible with reference to the particulars furnished by him/her in the Online application form / Certificates. The results of such candidate(s) shall be cancelled at any stage in the process of selection. The Commission has the right to disqualify any candidate, if he/she is not found eligible for any reason.

In respect of posts of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Cat-2), Deputy Superintendent of Jails (Men), and Divisional Fire Officer (Men), (P.C.No’s.03, 04 & 05) the candidates have to undergo a Medical Examination before the competent Medical Board at Vishakhapatnam and also all the Disabled candidates have to undergo Medical Examination at respective Medical Boards.

Selections and appointments made under these Notifications are as per the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeals 9140/2013 and 9141/2013 orders dated.07.10.2013. read with in I.A No.1/2016 in CONMT.PET.(C) D 26349/2015 in C.A No.9140/2013. Dated. 29.06.2016 and as per the Judgment of the Hon’ble High Court of A.P in W.P. No. 35392, 36544, 36549, 37000, 37007 of 2017 and 40464 of 2017, dated 11.12.2017.

As a result, the Provisional list of qualified candidates for interview (Oral Test) to GroupI Service, dated 21.03.2017 stands cancelled in view of the Judgment of the Hon’ble High Court of A.P in W.P. No. 35392, 36544, 36549, 37000, 37007 of 2017 and 40464 of 2017, dated 11.12.2017.

As per the directions of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, PhD candidates who have been / will be issued Provisional Certificate on or before 30-12-2017 are permitted to apply for VI Convocation Original Degree (OD) on or before 30-12-2017 (Saturday).

Further, the PhD candidates who desire to be awarded degree in the Convocation have to submit letter of willingness directly to the Director of Evaluation on or before 30- 12-2017. The form of willingness is available on the website.

TNSET 2018 Notification, Exam Date and time schedule, Online Application Form, Syllabus, Hall tickets, results and other details are published at tnsetexam2018mtwu.in. As a Nodal Agency of the UGC, the Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal announces the conduct of the State Eligibility Test (TNSET 2018) on 04.03.2018 (Sunday) for determining the eligibility for Assistant Professor in Tamil Nadu Universities and Colleges. The University will conduct TNSET 2018 in 26 Subjects at 11 Examination Centers across the State.

Candidates who qualify for TNSET 2018 will be governed by the eligibility criteria stipulated for the Assistant Professors of concerned Universities / Colleges / Institutions (Government/ Aided /Private) of Tamil Nadu State.

Income and Community Certificates:

Income Certificate and Community Certificate produced as supporting evidence will be accepted, provided the same is duly issued by the concerned competent authorities. The candidates belonging to OBC with less than 8 lakhs of income per annum will be classified under Non Creamy Layer. Those with annual income of 8 Lakhs and above will be classified under Creamy Layer as per the norms of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

TNSET 2018 Notification, Exam Date and Time Schedule, Online Application Form

SCHEME AND DATE OF TEST:

The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions/ MCQs and will be held on 04.03.2018 (Sunday) in three separate sessions as follows:

TIME SCHEDULE

TNSET 2018 ELIGIBILITY:

1. Candidates who have secured at least 55% of marks (without rounding off) for General/ OBC (belonging to Creamy Layer) Category and 50% for OBC(belonging to Non – Creamy Layer)/ Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD-VI/HI/PH), in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination from Universities/Institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi, in subjects like Sciences, Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Sciences, Library & Information Science, are eligible to appear for this examination.

2. Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the Master Degree(final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also appear for this examination. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and for those who clear the TNSET 2018 examination will have to qualify within two years from the date of TNSET 2018 Examination, failing which they will be treated as disqualified.

3. Candidates shall appear for TNSET 2018 examination in their relevant subject of their Post-Graduation only. In case the Candidate did not find the subject of their Post Graduation in the list of TNSET 2018 subjects, the Candidate may appear in UGC-NET / UGC-CSIR NET which is held twice a year.

4. Candidates other than General Category are required to mention their Social Status in the Online Application Form. Candidates may note that they should satisfy the eligibility conditions with reference to the documents such as Community Certificate and Certificates related to PwD (VI/HI/PH), OBC(Creamy /Non Creamy Layer), when they upload their applications. The Income Certificate and Community Certificate uploaded by the candidates must be issued by the competent authorities.In case any of the Certificates mentioned above is found to be invalid by the TNSET 2018 authority at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled and they shall be liable for legal action.

5. Candidates should note that their candidature is provisional. The mere fact that an admission card has been issued to a candidate will not imply that the TNSET 2018 authority has accepted his/her candidature. Candidates may note that candidature will be deemed final, only upon verification of eligibility conditions.

Age Limit:

There is no upper age limit for applying for TNSET2018 examination.

How to Apply For TNSET 2018

1. The candidates must read the conditions of eligibility carefully and must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the TNSET 2018 before filling the Online Application Form.

2. Submission of Online Application is mandatory. Hard copies of application form will not be accepted by Mother Teresa Women’s University.

3. Application Form must be complete in all respects as per the Notification.

4. All incomplete Application Forms will be rejected.

5. Applications submitted on any other format will not be accepted.

6. Application submitted without the prescribed fee will be rejected.

7. Before applying Online, the candidates must possess the scanned images as below:-

  • Passport size photograph in JPG format of the file size prescribed in the online application websitewww.tnsetexam2018mtwu.in.
  • Signature of the candidate in JPG format of the file size prescribed in the online application website www.tnsetexam2018mtwu.in.
  • Income Certificate, Community Certificate and PwD Certificate issued by Competent authorities are to be uploaded in PDF format of the file size prescribed in the online application website www.tnsetexam2018mtwu.in.

  • General/ OBC Creamy Layer: Rs. 1500/-

TNSET 2018 HALL TICKET

It may be noted that the Hall Ticket will be uploaded on the website: www.tnsetexam2018mtwu.in. No Hall Ticket will be sent to the candidates by post. The candidates should download their Hall Tickets from the above website to ascertain their venue of the Exam. No Candidate will be allowed to appear at the Examination Centre other than that allotted to him/her in the Hall Ticket.

SYLLABUS :

Syllabus for TNSET 2018 examination will be the same as in UGC/CSIR-NET. Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal will not send the syllabus to the candidates individually. Syllabi for all TNSET subjects can be downloaded from UGC website: www.ugc.ac.in.

TNSET 2018 Results

The result of the TNSET 2018 Examination held on 04.03.2018 will be published on the Website: www.tnsetexam2018mtwu.in for authenticated view by candidates who have been admitted for the exam. Only qualified candidates will receive intimation through SMS.

Ref: Several complaints received from students and parents on receiving their original certificates from the colleges.

Return of Original Certificates to Students in case students discontinues / cancels the admissions

It is to inform that several complaints have been received by this office from students and their parents stating that the managements of various professional colleges are demanding fee for the subsequent years /more than the prescribed fee for issuing the original certificates to the students who discontinues their course.

In this regard, it is to inform to all Affiliating Universities that the AICTE in its Approval Process Hand Book 2017-18 under Chapter IV ie., Penal Action in case of Violation of Regulations/ Approval Process Handbook 2017-13, SI No. 11 (page nos. 54 & 55) mentioned about the Refund cases and also the punitive actions in case of not following the guidelines issued by AICTE.

The AICTE in the above reference has clearly mentioned that “In case the vacated seat is not filled, the Institution should refund the security deposit and return the original documents. Institution should not demand fee for the subsequent years from, the students cancelling their admission at any point of time. Fee refund along with the return of Certificates should be completed within 7 days”.

The Registrars of the affiliating Universities in the State of AP are requested to inform the above mentioned provision of AICTE to all their affiliated colleges and to instruct them to follow scrupulously, failing which the matter shall be placed before Government & AICTE with a recommendation not to accord further Approvals for that institution.

WBJEE 2018 Application Form: WBJEE 2018 is a Common Entrance Examination for admission to Undergraduate Courses in Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses in Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self Financed Institutes in the State for the academic session of 2018–19.

Date of examination: 22nd April, 2018 (Sunday)

Application for this examination will be received ONLINE through the Board’s portal http://www.wbjeeb.in starting tentatively in 1st week of January, 2018. Other details will be notified in due course.

Procedure for submission of application Form , payment of Examination Fees and downloading/printing of the Confirmation

Application for WBJEE-2018 has to be made ONLINE only through the webportal http://wbjeeb.nic.in .

Candidates need to have a working mobile number and an email ID. All future communications by the Board will be sent to this mobile number and an email ID only.

The application procedure is interactive in nature. Detail guideline is given in APPENDIX-11. The steps are briefly described below.

Filling up of Application Form

The candidate will first enter the registration details i.e. Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s name and Date of birth.

Be careful while entering the registration details. It cannot be changed/edited/modified under normal circumstances. Also the information must match exactly with the school admit cards, mark sheets, certificates, photo identity cards, caste/category certificates etc. which you have to produce to enter the examination hall, during counselling, during admission and during registration with the University.

a) Any attempt by a candidate to make duplicate registration will be stopped by the system.

b) Thereafter candidates will fill up various personal information regarding, Nationality, Religion, Income category, Address, Choice of examination zones, academic detail etc.

c) At the end, the candidate has to choose password and security question/answer.

d) At this stage the candidate can review the entire application and make changes as necessary.

e) The candidate will then be asked to submit the application.

f) Then an application number will be generated and SMS/email will be sent to the candidate.

g) Candidates have to remember their password and security question/answer. If the candidate forgets the password, he/she has to recover it through “Forgot Password” option. There is no other way to recover the password even by the Board if it is lost.

h) It is not possible for any person/agency to change/edit/input any information without knowing the password. Hence candidates must not share their password with anybody. The Board will not be responsible for any change resulting from sharing/ divulging of the password.

i) At this stage candidates may logout or continue to next step.

Interested aspirants can fill the VSAT Online application till 10th April 2018. Candidates can fill the VSAT online application from 14th November onwards. The Vignan University is going to organize the VSAT examination from 21st April to 25th April 2018.

Candidates qualified with good merit in this examination will get scholarship of 50% will be given for 50 to 100 students and a scholarship of 25% reduction in the fee will be given for 100 to 200 students. The candidates qualified in JEE Main, Advanced, and EAMCET examinations with good merit will also be given the scholarship.
