It is here by notified that on the basis of combined & common Preliminary Examination held on 31-05-2017 for the Posts of PGT, TGT & PD in various Residential Educational Institutions Societies, the candidates with the following Register Numbers are provisionally picked up in the ratio of 1:15 for Main Examination for the post of TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHERS. The Main Examination will be held on 20/07/2017, 21/07/2017 & 22/07/2017. Against total No.of 2340 (Maths, Bio-science, Physical Science, Social & Science) vacancies, there is a short fall in selection of candidates in 1:15 ratio with respect to certain categories. Preliminary Examination:

  • The question paper of the Main examination will be supplied in English version only except languages.
  • In the Preliminary Screen Test, the 150 questions to be answered will be based upon General Studies, General Abilities and Basic Proficiency in English.
  • Duration of the exam is 150 minutes and the marks are 150.

Mains Examination:

  • The questions thus asked will be objective type.
  • Paper – I will feature 150 questions based on Pedagogy of Concerned. Duration is 150minutes and the total marks are also 150.
  • Paper – II will also feature 150 questions based on Subject Discipline Knowledge/Concerned Subject. Duration is 150minutes and the total marks are also 150.

TSPSC TGT PGT Examination Centre:

  • The Screening Test will be held at HYDERABAD (including HMDA Jurisdiction) only or all erstwhile District headquarters.
  • The Main (Objective Type) Examination will be held at HYDERABAD (including HMDA Jurisdiction) only.

TSPSC Gurukulam TGT PGT Qualifying Marks/ Cutoff Marks:

Candidates those who obtains the qualifying marks in the preliminary examination are said to be qualified in the examination. Hopefuls cleared the preliminary examination are eligible for mains examination. Candidate selection will be done in 1:15 ratio for mains examination.  The minimum qualifying marks for Selection are OCs 40%, BCs 35% SCs, STs, and PHS 30%.

Under the above circumstances, permission is accorded for B.Tech (R13) regular students admitted in AY 2013-14 and lateral entry students admitted in AY 2014 -15 as per the details given below:

A maximum of 0.15% of total marks allotted to all the theory subjects in the program may be adjusted from the theory subjects passed in final year and/ or from project work, and added to the maximum of two failed subjects , if the status of those two subjects changes from fail to pass otherwise the previous status remains the same.

Sub: JNTUK – Academics Regulations – Certain concession for passing – Reg. Ref: Note File approval of the Hon’ble Vice – Chancellor, dt. 04.08.2014.

Presently, 0.15% grace marks are being allowed for change of class from first class to distinction (69.85% to 70%), Second class to first class (59.85% to 60%) and pass class to second class (49.85% to 50%). With this, a total of 0.15% marks maximum are added to final year project/seminar to enable the student to get higher class for B.Tech/B.Pharm courses.

Many representations are received from the students that a grace marks may be added for passing, if a candidate failed in one/two subjects with shortage of 1, 2 or 3 marks.

Under the circumstances stated above, Vice – Chancellor is pleased to extend 0.15% grace marks facility to the candidates of any degree if he/she passes the subject(s) and obtains the degree, subject to approval of academic senate and execute council/MDC. These orders shall come into force from all examinations held during November/December 2013.

All candidates seeking benefit from the 0.15% grace marks shall apply through proper channel enclosing failed original marks memo. The principal shall verify at the college whether the candidate is passing if 0.15% grace marks facility is extended i.e. 0.15% of grand total marks of the UG/PG courses with fail in maximum two subjects.

The best performance among the external examinations shall be considered while giving the grace marks, if adding these marks makes the student eligible to get his/her degree, for which the candidate must have appeared at least one examination after 01.01.2014

A separate approval shall be obtained for the eligible candidates for implementation of the above relaxation as and when the applications are received.

In accordance with the provisions of sub – section (1) of section 23 of the Right to Education Act (RTE), 2009, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) had vide it’s Notification dated 23 rd August, 2010 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that she/he should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE. Accordingly, Government of Telangana State has issued guidelines for conducting Teacher Eligibility Test in Telangana State vide G.O cited in the reference above.

Important dates of TS TET 2017

All candidates who possess D.Ed./ B.Ed. / Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications and candidates pursuing final year of the said courses with requisite percentage of marks obtained as given in the Information Bulletin of TS-TET-2017 and who aspire to become teachers for classes I to VIII in the schools of the State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad Schools Private Aided Schools and Private unaided schools in Telangana State can appear for TS-TET. The candidates who did not qualify in the 1 st, 2nd and 3 rd and 4 th APTETs and 1st TS-TET 2016 can also apply for the TS-TET-2017. Further, the candidates who got qualified in the earlier TETs can also apply for TS-TET-2017 if they desire improvement over their previous TET score. Note: “The Government may impose additional qualifications over and above these qualifications specific to a teachers post at the time of the Notification for Teachers Recruitment Test”.

TS TET 2017 Exam pattern:

The TS-TET-2017 will be conducted in 2 papers viz. Paper-I & Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I and the candidates intend to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.

Date and Timings of TS-TET-2017

TS-TET-2017 will be conducted on 23rd July 2017 (Sunday) in all the 31 Districts of the State. The duration and timings of the test are given below:

  • Paper-I: 9.30 am to 12.00 noon (duration 2 ½ hours)
  • Paper-II: 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm (duration 2 ½ hours)

Fee and submission of Application Online:

The fee prescribed for appearing for TS-TET (including examination fee) is Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only) for only Paper-I or only Paper-II or both. Candidates can pay the fee through TSonline or Payment Gateway centres between 12.06.2017 to 22.06.2017 and submit online application at the TSTET website http://tstet.cgg.gov.in between 13.06.2017 to 23.06.2017.

Detailed procedure for applying ONLINE is given in the Information Bulletin. Candidates can download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the TS-TET website: http://tstet.cgg.gov.in from 12.06.2017 onwards. Candidates submit their applications online from 13.06.2017 to 23.06.2017.

Examination Centers for TS-TET 2017:

TS-TET shall be conducted in all the 31 Districts of the State. Candidate can choose any Examination Centre (District) of his choice. However, when the capacity of any particular Examination Centre (District) gets exhausted, that particular Examination Centre (District) will not be displayed in the list of examination centres given in the Online application form. In such case the candidate has to choose the Examination Centre (District) of his/her choice from the remaining list available.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates at the time of applying for TS-TET 2017 should be in possession of the minimum qualifications prescribed for a teacher for I to V classes (Paper-I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper-II) as given in Information Bulletin. The candidates who are pursuing final year of any of the Teacher Education Courses recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be, and / or the Language Pandit Training Courses can also appear for the TSTET-2017.

However, it is clarified that appearance or a pass in TS-TET by itself will not vest any right in a candidate to be considered for appointment to the post of Teacher in Government / Zilla Parishad / Mandal Parishad / and Private Aided Schools, unless he is in possession of the qualifications prescribed for appointment to such post in the relevant statutory recruitment rules framed by State Government from time to time as on the date prescribed there in for possession of such qualifications. Details of qualifications prescribed for TS-TET are provided in the Information Bulletin.

Structure, Content and Syllabus of TS-TET:

a) The structure and content of each part of Paper-I and Paper-II of the TS-TET, and the breakup of the total 150 marks among various parts of the paper are given in the Information Bulletin.

Pass Criteria in TET: The criteria for considering pass in TS-TET are as follows:

** Note: Physically disabled with at least 40% disability only will be considered in respect of Visually and Orthopedically Disabled. With regard to Hearing Impaired, minimum 75% disability will be considered under PH category.

Validity period of TET Certificate / Marks Memo: TS-TET Certificate / Marks Memo shall be valid for a period of 7 years from the date of TET examination in accordance with NCTE Guidelines.

Weightage for TS-TET Scores in selection in Teachers Recruitment Test of Telangana State 20% weightage will be given to TS-TET scores in the ensuing Teacher Recruitment of the State Government i.e., 20% weightage is for TS-TET score and 80% weightage for written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT).

Storage of examination material: The examination related material will be preserved for six months from the date of examination and no application in this regard will be entertained beyond this period.

Exemption from passing TS-TET: Teachers who were appointed before NCTE notification, dated 23.08.2010 on selection by District Selection Committee or by competent authority in Govt. / Local Authority as per Recruitment rules prevalent at that time are exempted from appearing TET Exam. However, teachers working in private schools whose appointments were not approved by competent authority in Government are not exempted from passing TET. Such teachers of private unaided schools can also appear TET conducted by either state Government or Central Government. Teachers working in private aided schools whose appointment is not approved by the competent authority should invariably pass TS-TET only.

PU CET 2017 (UG) was conducted by the Varsity on June 4 for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) (Choice Based Credit System) and B.Pharmacy courses offered at PU Campus. The applications for UG entrance test were submitted from April 18 to May 17 while the exam was conducted on 4th June in Chandigarh. After the conclusion of exam, the University had published the answer keys on 6th June. The objections against the published answer keys were submitted till 1 pm on 8th June. PU CET result 2017 are set to be announced today.

The University will publish PU – CET (U.G.) result showing the list of “Qualified” and “Not Qualified” candidates for the following combinations of subjects:-

1. Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

2. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics

3. Mathematics only

The cut off percentage is 15% of the total marks. Only in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Backward Classes / PwD candidates, this requirement will be a minimum attainment of 10% (cut off) of total marks.

Admissions to various courses shall be made on the basis of merit only. (d) The CET Percentile Score of the two streams will be evaluated independently.

The final Merit List for the admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) will be prepared by adding: (i) CET percentile score with 75% weightage, (ii) 10+2 examination marks with 25% weightage, and (iii) over and above weightage of NCC, NSS, etc. in terms of marks in the Qualifying Examination

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) is a medical school in the country that is responsible to conduct various Medical related examinations for the aspiring candidates. JIPMER works as an educational organization that offers both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) Medical training for the eligible and interested candidates. The list of certificates to be brought on the day of counselling (Ref: Prospectus Page No.27). All applicants who have appeared for the entrance Examination can download their individual Rank Letter detailing their marks from official website of JIPMER (www.iipmer.edu.in) from 15.07.2017 (Wednesday) from 10.00 AM No individual communication will be sent to any of the candidates The candidates are required to check the JIPMER website for relevant and updated instructions on counselling periodically. Change of Certificate verification/Counselling date will NOT be allowed to any candidate under any circumstances.

How to download JIPMER MBBS 2017 Result

  • Candidates need to visit the official website 
  • On the homepage, candidates will be able to see the active link of ‘JIPMER MBBS 2017 Results‘ 
  • On clicking the link candidates will be directed to a page where they will be check their results
  • Candidates can take print out of the result for future reference. 

JNTUA Procedure to apply for Provisional Certificates (PC) & Consolidated Marks Memos (CMM)

JNTUA Procedure to apply for PC & CMM: The principals of all affiliated and constituent colleges offering B.Tech/B.Pharmacy courses are requested to apply for PC & CMM through EMS & forward ‘Provisional Certificate (PC) & Consolidated Marks Memorandum (CMM) Applications’ of those students who have obtained eligibility (B.Tech students registered for 180 credits and secured 180 credits for regular & registered for 135 credits and secured all 135 credits for lateral entry) after the recent declaration of results of 4th year 2nd semester regular examinations.

Attested photocopies of SSC, Mother’s Aadhar card or any Id issued by Government, all marks memos (from 1st year to 4th year 1st semester) and result statement of 4th year 2nd semester downloaded from result portal are to be enclosed along with each application. The fee to be paid by each student towards ‘PC & CMM’ is Rs 200/- (Rupees two hundreds) only. The applications and enclosures along with consolidated statement giving the names and admission numbers of students who have applied and a single demand draft for the fee (drawn in favor of ‘The Registrar JNTU Anantapur’ payable at Anantapur) are to be submitted in person by authorized staff at examinations branch on 19.06.2017 (Monday) without fail.

Readmitted candidates applications should be applied separately and sealed in a separate pack. Payment can also be made by SBI Power Jyothi A/c No. 32950804752 / Andhra Bank A/c No.225410100000131 challan. In case of payment by SBI Power Jyothi A/c / Andhra Bank A/c challan the University Copy of the challan is to be enclosed along with the consolidated list.

Submit the below mentioned documents at your respective college exam cell.

1. Filled Provisional Certificate application form

2. SBI Challan (Power Jyothi A/C 32950804752) or Andhra Bank challan (towards account number 225410100000131) University Copy for Rs 200/- / Demand Draft for Rs. 200/- drawn in favor of the REGISTRAR, J.N.T.UNIVERSITY ANANTAPUR, payable at Ananthapuramu should be enclosed.

3. Attested (attested by the college principal) photocopies of SSC, all marks memos of all semester’s and result statement final semester downloaded from result portal are to be enclosed along with each application.

4. Filled in undertaking form [Only for B.Tech students who want to leave 1 or 2 subjects under exemption rule to get the PC,CMM].

5. Xerox copy of any ID card issued by Government for Mother Name proof (attested by the college Principal) should be enclosed.
