1) The High School/Jr. College should have good premises on adequate land, built up area, sufficient class/ lecture halls, Laboratories for Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) Classrooms, etc, furniture and equipment for minimum 300 students apart from urinals and Toilet separately for Boys/Male, Girls/Female and staff in requisite number.

2) High School /Junior College should be either Government Junior College or Private aided High School or Recognized Private High School (and is affiliated to Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh).

3) If the Junior College is a Vocational Institution, it should be not only affiliated to BIE but also to State Board of Technical Education.

4) High School / Junior College should have adequate qualified faculty for all academic subjects offered.

5) High School / Junior College should be accessible for students i.e., by bus/rail etc.

6) Recognized Degree College having recognized Junior College having High School sections is also eligible to be a study centre if it fulfills the criteria.

On providing the Bank account number list by the states, the Ministry for Human Resource Development, New Delhi will sanction the scholarships and send such list to the SBI, New Delhi for disbursement of scholarships to the awardees.

ORDER: In the reference (I) read above, a committee has been constituted inconection with the recommend the evaluation procedure for the subject of ‘Irrigation Design and Drawing’ of Civil Engineering branch of IV B.Tech I Semester R16 regulations and submitted the report vide ref (2) read above and recommended the following.

The norms for conduction and evaluation of internal and external examinations of practical subjects shall be applied to the subject of ‘Irrigation Design and Drawing’ for the academic year 2019-2020 only. The external examination shall consist of answering ONE question on designing and drawing out of two questions given in the question paper.

From the next academic year onwards, i.e., 2020-2021, It will be treated as a Design & Drawing subject (as mentioned in the R16 regulations of item 200) with 4 contact hours and 2 credits.
In view of the above, the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, JNTUK is pleased to accord permission to implement the above recommendations.
