Candidates who qualify the KSET – 2018 are governed by the recruitment rules and regulations stipulated for the post of Assistant Professors of concerned Universities / Colleges / Institutions (Government/ Aided /Private) of Karnataka State.

Provisional Answer Keys of all the papers will be displayed on the website http://kset.unimysore.ac.in during 4th week of December 2018. The candidates who are not satisfied with Provisional Key Answers, may challenge by submitting application form paying a sum of Rs.1000/- per question, which is not refundable in any case. The KSET decision on the challenges shall be final and the result will be declared on the basis of Final Answer Keys which will be notified on the KSET website. No grievance with regard to KSET answer key(s) after declaration of result of KSET, 2018 will be entertained.

KSET Answer Key 2018 For Paper 1 And Paper 2

The test will be consisting of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs). The test will be held on 30th December, 2018 (Sunday) in two separate sessions. Candidate who does not appear for first session will not be permitted to appear for II session of the examination. There is no Negative Marking in Paper-I and Paper-II.

Paper-I :- Fifty (50) multiple choice questions of two marks each will be given candidate would be required to answer all fifty (50) questions. All questions are compulsory. Paper 1 for 100 Marks

Paper-II: – will consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions from the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks. Paper 2 for 200 Marks.

  • There is No Negative Marking.

KSET 2018 Qualifying Marks (Cutoff Marks)

KSET Authority will not issue any marks sheet to qualified / non qualified candidates. There is no provision for re-evaluation or re-totaling.

PROCEDURE AND CRITIRIA FOR DECLARATION OF KSET RESULT:

This will comprise the following steps for considering a candidate for the eligibility for Assistant Professors.

Step 1: The number of candidates to be qualified (total slots) for Eligibility for Assistant Professors shall be equal to 6% of the candidates appeared in both the papers of KSET-2018.

Step 2: The total slots arrived, again shall be allocated to different categories as per the reservation policy of Government of Karnataka.

Step 3: In order to be considered for ‘Eligibility for Assistant Professor’, the candidate must have appeared in both the papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for General (Unreserved) category candidates and at least 35% aggregate marks in both the papers taken together for all candidates belonging to the reserved categories (viz., Cat-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, SC, ST, PWD) (belonging to Non-Creamy Layer).

Appsc Junior Lecturer Eligibility Criteria And Educational Qualification

Junior Lecturers for Subject wise Qualification:

Applicants must have passed P.G. Degree in (M.A. or M.Sc., or M.Com., OR B.A.(Hons.) or B.Sc.(Hons.) or B.Com. (Hons.) In the relevant subject/language with a minimum of 50% marks in P.G. Degree Examination as recognized by the U.G.C.

Junior Lecturers for CIVICS subject:

Applicants must have the educational qualification of P.G. Degree in Politics or Political Science or Public Administration with a minimum of 50% marks or its equivalent as recognized by the U.G.C.

Age Limit:

No person shall be eligible for direct recruitment if he/she is less than 18 years of age and if he / she is more than 42 years of age as on 01/07/2018 as per G.O.Ms.No.132,GA (Ser-A) Dept., dated:15.10.2018. Candidates should not be born earlier than 2nd July 1976 and not later than 1st July 2000.

Selection Process:

Candidates will be shortlisted through their merit. Various selection tests will be conducted by the authority.

One Time Opportunity Scheme: (upto Y11 Batch)

I am also to inform that ‘One Time Opportunity Scheme‘ has introduced to the following eligible candidates and the One Time Opportunity Examination will be conducted along with the Degree Year-End Supplementary Examinations in March 2019.

The candidates who are admitted Prior 2012-13 academic years under revised common core syllabus shall appear in `One-Time Opportunity‘ scheme and they shall appear in the existing pattern of modified curriculum. The One-Time Opportunity examinations also conducted with the Year-End Supplementary candidates as the syllabus was same.

The one time opportunity fee schedule:

The fees schedule for the candidates who are eligible to appear in the one time opportunity scheme are as follows:

a) 3 papers or less than Three papers in any year : Rs.2965/-

b) For each additional paper in any year: Rs.1470/-

c) The fee is per year and papers independently for 1st, 2nd and 3rd years.

The One-Time opportunity candidates has to appear and pass the left out papers in I, II and III Years as per existing Curriculum (follow Time-Table for Degree examinations held on March /April 2019).

The Principals of all the affiliated Degree Colleges of ANU area are requested to pay the exams fees course wise, year wise fee i.e. B.Sc./B.Com./B.A./B.C.A./BAOL/ BHM/BBM/BBM (Hons.)/B.Sc (ASLP)/ B.Sc. (HS)/BHM 1st, 2nd and 3rd years on a separate online challans for each course along with detailed list of students with the Registered Nos.

“Karuvu Bandh” on Dec 28 in AP

VIJAYAWADA: CPI state secretary of AP Ramakrishna has lashed out TDP government for not announcing assistance to those affected by the recent cyclone and the drought.
Speaking to the media, after a meeting of 9 left parties organized here on Wednesday, he said that they have decided to call for a “Karuvu Bandh” on 28 of this month. He said that left parties have also decided to organize state wide protests ahead of the Modi’s visit as the PM has failed to fulfill the promises made during the bifurcation of the state.

He further said that a series of protests are planned including an event on 4 of January in Delhi demanding special status for AP, state wide protests on 5 of January and another event on 6 of January in Guntur which would involve raising slogans of  ‘Modi go back’.
