Eligibility Conditions

1. Age Limit (General)

TSLPRB Raising of Upper Age Limit by 3 Years to various Posts in Police Department

i. For the Post Code Nos. 21 to 25:

a) Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2 nd July, 1996 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

b) For Home Guards, a Person who, as on the date of Notification, has been on duty as Home Guard for a minimum duration of 360 days within a period of 2 (two) years and who is still continuing his service as Home Guard, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1978 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

ii) For the Post Code Nos. 26, 27 & 28 : Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

iii) For the Post Code Nos. 21, 22 & 28 (For Women Candidates): In the case of a Widow, a Divorced Woman or a Woman judicially separated from her husband and who is not remarried,

a) Candidate if she is an SC or ST, must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1978 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

b) In all other cases other than SC & ST, the Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on 1st July, 2018 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1983 and not later than 1st July, 2000. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 62, Home (Legal) Department dated 06-06-2018 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for appointment by direct recruitment by Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board to various Posts in Police Department, Disaster Response & Fire Services Department, Prisons & Correctional Services Department and Special Protection Force by 3 (three) years. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

Note: A Candidate claiming age relaxation by virtue of being either a Widow or a Divorcee or a Woman judicially separated should produce the following documentary evidence.

(i) In case of Widow, Death Certificate of her husband together with the Affidavit that she has not re-married since.

(ii) In case of Divorced Women and Women judicially separated from their husbands, a certified copy of the Judgment / Decree of the appropriate court to prove the fact of divorce or the judicial separation, as the case may be, along with an Affidavit that she has not re-married since.

The Upper Age Limit will be relaxable as described in the Supplementary Notification.

B. Minimum Educational Qualification:

Candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2018, a pass Certificate in Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government. In the case of a Candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2018, he / she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examination in, both the 1st year and 2nd year.

Note:- Candidates who possess higher qualification than the prescribed one will also be considered on par with the Candidates who possess the prescribed qualification.

Fee: Candidates with local status of Telangana belonging to OCs and BCs applying for the Posts of SCT PC (Civil / AR / SAR CPL / TSSP), Constables in SPF, Firemen in TS Disaster Response & Fire Services Department and Warders (Male) / Warders (Female) in Prisons & Correctional Services Department have to pay a fee of Rs.800/- towards Registration of the Application, Processing of Application, Conduct of Tests and Examinations, Maintenance of Portal etc., Local Candidates of Telangana belonging to SCs and STs have to however, pay only Rs.400/- towards the same. All other Candidates will have to pay Rs.800/-. Fee may be paid at TS Online / AP Online / MeeSeva (e-Seva) Centres / through Payment Gateway (Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking).

The eligible and qualified candidates of TSECET-2018 (Diploma holders of all branches including Pharmacy & B.sc. Mathematics Degree Holders) desirous of seeking admission into B.E /B.Tech / Pharmacy Courses (Lateral Entry into second year) in University and Private Engineering and Pharmacy Colleges and who have not attended for Certificate Verification earlier shall get their Certificates verified from designated Help Line Centers mentioned in Annexure I. Who can exercise options?

  • Candidates who have secured seat but not interested to join.
  • Who have not secured seat so far but got their certificates verified.
  • Who have not exercised the options so far but got their certificates verified.
  • Who have secured a seat, reported and aspiring for a better option.

NOTE:

1. Options given in the first phasewill not be considered for allotment and candidates have to exercise option afresh.

2. Candidates who are satisfied with their previous allotment and paid the Tuition Fee through online and reported at allotted college need not exercise option once again.

3. Candidates shall note that if they exercise options now and a seat is allotted as per the options, the vacated seat will be allotted to next meritorious candidate and hence they will have no claim on previous allotment.

  • Candidate should have obtained a Diploma in Engineering and Technology / Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana State / Andhra Pradesh or any other Diploma recognized by the Government of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as equivalent there to for admission into relevant B.E / B.Tech. / B Pharmacy courses.

  • They should have passed three years B.Sc Degree Examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination from a recognized University in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State or its equivalent. However B.Sc (Mathematics) Degree Holders are not eligible for admission into B. Pharmacy Course.
  • Mere appearing for TSECET-2018 and obtaining a rank does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission automatically unless the candidate fulfils the requirements laid down for admissions.

  • The candidates who did not pay processing fee during first phase counselling has to pay now.

AGE: Minimum 18 years & Maximum 44* years. The age is reckoned as on 01/07/2018 (Rule- 12(1)(a)(v) of State and Subordinate Service Rules).

  • Minimum Age (18 years): A Candidate should not be born after 01/07/2000.
  • Maximum Age (44 years): A candidate should not be born before 02/07/1974.

FEE: (Remittance of Fee) Each applicant must pay Rs. 200/- (RUPEES TWO HUNDRED ONLY) towards Online Application Processing Fee. This apart, the applicants have to pay RS. 80/- (RUPEES EIGHTY ONLY) towards Examination Fee. However, the following category of candidates are exempted from payment of Examination fee.

a) BC, SC & ST of Telangana State

b) Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 44 years of Telangana State (They have to submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission that they are unemployed).

c) PH & Ex-service men.

TSNPDCL Sub-Engineer Hall Ticket 2018: Telangana State Northern Power Distribution Company Limited has released the Sub-Engineer (Electrical) notification recently and accepted the applications from interested and eligible candidates till 18th June 2018. Aspirants can download the hall ticket from the TSNPDCL official website before 10 days of the examination (tentatively). Check the details of examination venue, date and time of examination from the hall ticket after downloading it.  candidate’s name, register number, father’s name, signature, scanned photograph and other details will also be printed on admit cards. Recheck all the details once after downloading the hall ticket. If any printing mistakes appear on it, the applicants can approach the TSNPDCL authorities through the mail, phone, and other helpline facilities provided.

It is important to carry the admit card as well as any of the valid identity proof while going to the examination. The examination officials are going to examine the identity card and hall ticket of the person. Candidates are also advised to report 30 minutes before the examination. Latecomers will not be allowed to take part in the examination.

Date of examination: The written examination for recruitment of Sub-Engineer/Elecl. will beheld on 08-7-2018 from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM.

The hall tickets will be placed on the website seven days prior to the date of examination. The candidate has to down load the Hall ticket from the website only. Hall tickets will not be sent to the candidates by post.

How to Download TSNPDCL Sub-Engineer Admit Card/ Hall Ticket 2018

  • Log on to staff selection commission official website – Tsnpdcl.cgg.gov.in
  • Go in “Latest News” section of TSNPDCL official website.
  • Search an appropriate link of Junior Engineer Exam admit card 2018.
  • Go on that link.
  • Input some required details like your roll number, name etc if required.
  • Finally, take a print out of your admit card.

Instructions to Candidates at the time of Written Examination:

1. The test is of two hours duration. The date and time will be indicated on the Hall ticket. Candidates should reach the test center in time. The candidates have to report 30 Minutes before the examination venue. Candidates will not be allowed into the examination hall after the test has started and will not be permitted to leave examination hall before the closure of test time under any circumstances. The candidates shall appear for written examination at their own cost.

2. The test will be of objective type with multiple-choice questions with only one answer being correct among the four alternatives suggested.

3. A separate O M R (Optical mark Reader) answer sheet with the carbon impression paper will be provided to the candidates. The candidate has to indicate his response to each question by darkening the appropriate bubble with a Black Ball Point pen. No corrections with white fluid will be permitted.

4. The candidate has to bring a good quality Black Ball Point pen to the examination hall.

5. The candidate has to handover the original OMR Sheet to the invigilators in the examination centre and is however permitted to take away the duplicate OMR Sheet (the carbon impression paper) along with question paper after the examination. If any candidate in violation of the above instructions takes away the original OMR Sheet, his candidature to the recruitment will be rejected besides invocation of penal provisions including debarment of the candidature for all future recruitments to be conducted by the TSNPDCL.

6. The candidate has to follow meticulously all the instructions given on the question paper booklet and OMR Answer Sheet else, the answer sheet may not be valued.

7. Usage of Calculators/mathematical tables is not permitted. Candidates should not bring cell phones or any other electronic gadgets to the examination hall.

8. The preliminary key will be placed on website next day of the examination .

9. If there are any objections on the preliminary key, the same can be raised within 3 days from the date of display of preliminary key to e-mail : “jshrd@tsnpdcl.in” 10. The test will be conducted in English language only.
