Based on the Recommendations given by subject experts in the workshop conducted on 15-06-2018 at Sbtet, AP, the following clarifications are here by informed to all.

1) As Industrial training is an essential Component of C-16 curriculum, any student re-admitted into C-16 curriculum must complete Industrial training along with C-16 Students. Also,

a) A student, studied upto IV semester and detained in Vth semester of C-14, will be re-admitted into C-16 Vth semester and has to study C-16 Vth semester and undergoes C-16, VIth Semester –Industrial training in the same order as the final year class of that branch of the college in which the re-admitted student Joins.

b) A student studied up to Vth Semester and detained in VIth Semester of C-14, will be re-admitted into C-16, VIth Semester-Industrial training and undergoes industrial training along with final year class of that branch of the college in which the re-admitted student Joins i.e., in the 6 months slot prescribed for that particular branch in that college.

2) Regarding additional subjects required to pass, the instructions given in reference (1) above are to be followed.

3) Regarding exempted subjects the instructions given in reference (2) above are to be followed.

Also, in this regard the following items enclosed here with are communicated for strict compliance.

GUIDELINES TO BE FOLLOWED BY THE READMITTED CANDIDATES FROM C-14 SCHEME INTO C-16 SCHEME

1. Any student who seeks readmission from C-14 scheme to C-16 scheme has to complete the diploma within double the duration of the course from the date of his/her first admission; otherwise the candidate forfeits the diploma. An undertaking is to be given by such candidates to the said effect

2. The readmitted candidate has to appear and pass the additional subjects, if any, as identified by the subject experts on his/her own and no separate classes will be conducted for the additional subjects.

3. The readmitted candidate has to give an undertaking stating that he/she will abide by the rules and regulations framed under C-16 scheme only.

4. If a candidate in 1st year C-14 scheme is detained and given permission for re- admission he will be admitted into I year C-16 scheme

5. A candidate who seeks readmission from C-14 scheme to C-16 scheme has to complete all the backlog subjects of previous C-14 scheme years/semesters (prior to the semester of re-admission) in C-14 scheme only.

6. In promotion rule to appear for 4th,5th or 6th / 7th semester examination, additional subjects are not counted for the calculation of number of backlog subjects condition.

7. Exemption will be given for the subjects, which he/she has already studied in C-14 scheme as identified by subject experts.

8. A C-14 scheme candidate can be readmitted in to the respective semesters i.e 3rd, 4th ,5th and 6th/7th semester, under C-16 scheme, where the candidate is discontinued/ detained.

9. No sessional marks are to be awarded for additional/ substitute/deficient subjects. However, the candidate shall appear for additional/ substitute subject(s) end examination and the maximum marks of the paper shall be scaled to maximum marks of the subject including sessional marks.

State Merit position of the eligible candidates applied for, will be prepared basing on the NEET UG – 2018 score & Rank and other eligibility criteria notified hereunder. Final merit position will be displayed after verification of Original certificates.

1. ELIGIBILITY: The Eligible candidates, who have qualified and secured minimum percentile in NEET UG – 2018, have to apply for determining the Merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats in respective categories subject to the conditions specified in admission Regulations/Prospectus. (Refer Regulations/ Prospectus for detailed clarifications).

a. The candidate should be an Indian National or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holder and should satisfy the Local or Non-local status in Andhra Pradesh (Residence requirement) as laid down in Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admissions) Order, 1974. Selection will be done as per the procedure laid down in the G.O.P.No.646, dated 10.07.1979 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education (EC2) Department, dated 18.05.2009.

b. The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Biotechnology and English.

  • OC candidates should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.
  • BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.
  • OC PH candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects.

c. The candidate should have qualified in NEET UG -2018 conducted by CBSE, New Delhi.

  • OC candidates should secure not less than 50th percentile in NEET UG -2018.
  • BC/SC/ST candidates should secure not less than 40th percentile in NEET UG -2018.
  • OC PH candidates should secure not less than 45th percentile in NEET UG -2018.

d. The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2018. The candidates born on or after 02-01-2002 are not eligible for admission into MBBS/BDS Courses and they need not apply for the counseling.

e. The candidates who wish to claim seats under Anglo Indian, Sports & Games, CAP (Army), NCC, Physically challenged (PH) and Police Martyrs Children (PMC) also need to fulfill the above eligibility criteria.

2. The candidates are advised to download and read the Prospectus/Regulations carefully before filling the Online application form for admission into MBBS & BDS Courses for the Academic Year 2018-19 available in the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in.

3. The qualified and eligible candidates as per the regulations who desire to take admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Government, Private Un-aided Non-minority & Minority Medical/Dental Institutions shall apply through online for determining the Merit position for Competent Authority quota seats in respective categories in the Website https://apmedadm.apntruhs.in from 8.00 AM on 20-06-2018 to 24-06-2018 upto 5.00 P.M only. The online application can be filled through any computer with internet connection (home/internet café/net center).

4. Application and counseling Fee for MBBS/BDS Courses :- Application and counseling Fee of Rs.3,000/-(Bank transaction charges extra) for OC & BC candidates and Rs.2,500/- (Bank transaction charges extra) for SC/ST candidates shall be paid through online by Debit card / Credit card or Net Banking. Under any circumstances fee once paid will not be refunded.

5. Procedure of filling online application form and for payment through online for Application and counseling Fee for MBBS/BDS Courses

2. The fee paid by the applicants is not refundable under any circumstances.

3. Read the Notification, Prospectus / Regulations carefully.

4. Visit website through Internet Explorer 11 version only to fill the application form.

5. The Registration number sent to the registered mobile after entering the basic details should be noted for further use. The Registration number should be kept confidentially and not to disclose to others.

6. Keep the following documents ready while filling online application to avoid delay in filling:

(c) SSC or equivalent examination showing the Date of Birth

6. Procedure for submission of filled-in online Application form for UG Medical and Dental courses:- The candidates need not submit Printout of Application by post/by hand to the University. The candidate should submit the print-out of the filled-in Online application form in person along with three (3) sets of self attested copies of certificates on the scheduled date at the center to be notified by the University for verification of original certificates.

Note: 1. Application form without Passport size photo, without signature at declaration area and incomplete applications at the time of verification of original certificates will stand automatically rejected and will not be considered for determining the Merit position in respective categories.

2. Candidates admission is strictly provisional. The mere fact that the Merit position issued to him/her does not imply that his/her candidature is accepted by the University and it does not mean that the entries made by him/her in the online application are accepted as true and correct. He/she may please note that the University will take up the verification of original certificates with regard to eligibility conditions i.e., NEET UG-2018, Educational qualifications. Local/Non local area status, category etc., after duly verifying all the relevant certificates at the time of verification of original certificates.

If the information furnished by him/her in the application is incorrect, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled and further action that deems fit will be taken.

3. Mere submission of application through Online is not sufficient. Candidates eligibility for admission into MBBS/BDS Courses for the academic year 2018-19 will be examined by the University only after submission of printout of application (hard copy) along with all enclosures specified at the notified centers for verification of original certificates.

4. The Orders issued from time to time by Ministry of Health, GoI, New Delhi/MCI/DCI/ Health Medical and Family Welfare, Govt. of AP, with regard to Admission to Medical and Dental Courses shall apply.

5. This notification is for determining the State Merit position in respective categories only. The counseling for exercising web options for admission to MBBS/BDS courses and procedure will be notified separately.

6. An in-eligible candidate obtaining Merit position does not make him/her eligible for admission.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

For PGT Posts

Aspirants must have atleast 2nd Class Master’s Degree in relevant discipline from any institute/ university which holds the Government recognition, along with B.Ed.

For TGT Posts

Candidates must have atleast 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ Arts/ Commerce from any Government approved university with B.Ed.

Age Limit:

  • For PGT: applicants should not be less than 18 years of Age and not more than 35 years as on 9th July 2018
  • For TGT: applicants should not be less than 18 years and not more than 33-years of age as on 9th July 2018.

Age Relaxation

  • 5-years for APST candidates
  • 10-years for Arunachal Pradesh Govt. employees
