For the first time in India, all the common entrance examinations (CETs) Will go online in Andhra Pradesh in 2017. HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced the names of the Varsities, which conduct these entrance examinations in 2017, on Thursday in Visakhapatnam. Speaking On this occasion, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said that they earlier formed a committee and studied their report before going the online Way.

“Now, We have been exploring Various options as What to do With EAMCET 2018 as the medicine aspirants have been taking the NEET and thousands of engineering seats Were remaining vacant. We Will soon constitute a commit. tee to receive recommendations from the committee.

In this backdrop, several options such as giving engineering admissions based on intermediate marks, going With a national-level eligibility test or increasing Weight-age to intermediate marks in EAMCET-2018 Were discussed. We thought of conducting all the CETS Online in 2016 itself, but couldn’t proceed with it due to lack of sufficient time and other issues,” said Mr. Srinivasa Rao.

The JNTU-Kakinada Will conduct the APEAMCET-2017 and the JNTU-Anantapur Will conduct the APECET-2017. The SW University, Tirupti will take the responsibility of APICET-2017. The Andhra University will hold the APPGECET-2017 and APED. CET-2017. The APLAWCET. 2017 will be conducted by The SK University Anantapur and APPECET-2017 by Acharya Nagarjuna University.

Sub: JNTUH – Exam Branch – M.Tech, M.Pharm, MBA & MCA Courses – Fee payment details and Procedure for Evaluation of Project (Viva-Voce Exam) January-2017. – Reg.

In connection with Project Viva-Voce Examinations to be conducted in the academic year (2015-16) for M.Tech/M.Pharm/MCA supply and MBA Regular/Supply students.

1. The student is permitted to submit Project, only after successful completion of all Theory and Practical courses.

2. The students can submit their Project to the college after completion of the duration of the project work. The last date for submission of projects in their respective colleges is on or before 17.01.2017, for this phase.

3. The Fee for Project Viva-Voce Exam to be collected for M.Tech/M.Pharm courses is Rs. 2500/- per student and for MCA/MBA courses is Rs. 1500/- per student.

4. No penalty may be levied to the student if a student submits project within one calendar year after completion of penultimate semester (6 months from the last semester). If the student is unable to submit the project within one calendar year, a penalty of Rs.5000/- will be levied for the first year of late submission,Rs.12000/- will be levied during second year of submission and Rs.18000/- will be levied during third year of submission, to the University. If special permission is granted by the University to a student for submission of project beyond three years limit, a penalty of Rs.10,000 per year additionally will be levied to the student.

5. The students need not submit the P.C application along with Viva-voce grades. The P.C fee has to be paid along with the project viva-voce examination fee (If already paid the P.C fee along with final semester exam fee, need not pay now).

GATE 2017 Online Registration Options Change : The registration process for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2017) begins on September 1 and will end on October 10 this year. GATE mainly tests candidates comprehensive understanding in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science. GATE 2017 application process : Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of the candidates in various undergraduate subjects in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and post-graduate level subjects in Science. The GATE score of a candidate reflects a relative performance level in a particular subject in the examination across several years. The score is used for admissions to post-graduate programs (e.g., M.E./M.Tech/ Direct Ph.D.) in centrally funded Indian Institutes of higher education (i.e., Institutes which are provided with financial assistance by MHRD and other Government agencies). The score is also used by some Public and Private Sector Undertakings for employment processes in India.

Minor modifications in applications: Candidates may please send an email to gateiitr.2017@gmail.com during 17-27 October, 2016 for minor modifications in the following only (with document proof in attachment). The candidates need to send email with relevant documents from their GATE2017 registered email only.The email subject should be “Correction in data (write your enrollment number here)”.

How to Fill the GATE 2017 Online Application?

How to Apply : All candidates have to apply via ONLINE only. Please read the details given below before you start online application process.

The application fee is non-refundable. Details of application fee for GATE 2017 :

  • Women candidates : Rs. 750
  • SC/ST/PwD* category candidates : Rs. 750
  • All other candidates : Rs. 1500
  • GATE International candidates : US Dollars 50

For International candidates, there is no need to attach PwD (person with disability) certificate and category (SC/ST) is NOT APPLICABLE. The examination fee is uniform for all (US Dollars 50). A candidate can appear in any one GATE paper ONLY.

GATE 2017 application fee payments would have to be made through online by using net banking or debit card or e-challan facilities. Additional charges will be applicable as per the rule of the bank from where the money is being transferred. This charge will be specified on the payment portal.

Filling in Application Online

Step 1. GOAPS: GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS website) has the web address

It can also be accessed from the website of the respective Zonal GATE Offices or from the website of the GATE 2017 Organizing Institute. Candidates are discouraged from making application through a third person.

Step 2. Registration: A candidate must first register by providing a valid email address, mobile number and a GOAPS password. All communications from the GATE Offices will be sent to this email address (ONLY ONE PERSON CAN REGISTER WITH ONE e-mail ADDRESS). Give your personal mobile number because most of the communications may also be sent via SMS.

GOAPS Password: The candidate chooses a password during Enrollment at GOAPS. This password must be remembered along with the GOAPS Enrolment ID to login to GOAPS. It is strongly encouraged to choose a password that cannot be guessed easily (it should not be the candidate’s name, date of birth, or some easily guessable string of numbers or letters like 12345 or abcd).

Step 3. GOAPS Enrollment ID: Upon registration, an email containing the GOAPS Enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate.

Step 4. Data Requirement for Filling Application: The following data will be required while filling the form at GOAPS.

  • Personal information (name, date of birth, your personal mobile number, parent’s name, parent’s mobile number, etc.)
    Address for Communication (including PIN code)
  • Eligibility degree details
  • College address, PIN code of college
  • GATE paper, choice of GATE examination cities
  • Scanned image of your photograph
  • Scanned image of your signature
  • Scanned image of your thumb impression
  • Scanned copy in pdf format of Degree Certificate or mark sheet of previous semester/year (for final year candidates) / Provisional certificate (letter) from the Institute for final year students (or pre-final year students of dual-degree streams)

Step 5. Application Filling: The GOAPS allows you to enter data, “Save” partially filled form, “Logout”, and resume filling in by logging in again. The GOAPS portal is self-explanatory and user-friendly. Online help about using GOAPS is also available.

Step 6. Before you make the payment, you will be shown a “Preview” of your application, where you have to carefully check for any errors.

Step 7. Once you press “Confirm and Final Submit” button, no further changes to the application can be made by you.

Step 8. For online payment follow the instructions given in Section 4.4.3 for payment options.

Step 9. Problems in Login into GOAPS –In case of forgotten user ID or password, follow instructions on the GOPAS portal to retrieve them.

The B. Tech. (CCC) students who wish to apply for the University examination are informed to note the new procedure for making the Exam fee payment and for the submission of the application for the Tech (CCC). Examinations.

1. Visit the University Examinations portal at the URL http://registrations.jntuh.ac.in/olrccc

2. Select the regular / backlog subjects, year-wise, for which the registrations are to be performed using the appropriate menu service.

3. If not uploaded earlier upload your pass-port size digital photograph in the same registrations portal. Ensure that the quality of the digital photo is very good. The uploaded photograph must be in the jpg (JPEG) format size below 50kb. If it is in other format, it should be converted to JPEG format.

4. Obtain the printout of the PDF file corresponding to your subject registration details from the same registrations portal.

5. Make the payment online, either by using the Visa / Master credit / debit cards or by generating the SBH online challan.

6. The photo copies of PDF receipt generated in case of payment by payment-gateway or the University copy of the SBH challan incase of challan payment should be taken.

7. The copy of the printout of the registration receipt (item 4 above) and the payment receipt (as in item 6 above) should be tagged/stapled and send by post to “B. Tech (CCC) cell, Office of the Director, SCDE, Administrative Building, JNTU Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad, 500 085”

2. All the students must note that the examination fee is Rs.150/‐ per theory subject / lab exam (for I to IV years) and Rs. 150/‐ for viva‐voce (for final year only).

3. ALL THE STUDENTS SHALL ALSO PAY THE FEE FOR MARKS MEMO @ RS.10/‐ PER YEAR, ALONG WITH THE EXAM FEE, WITHOUT FAIL.

4. The total amount payable towards examination fee should include exam fee for all the Theory Subjects, Viva‐Voce fee, fee for memorandum of marks @ Rs.10/‐ per year and the Late Fee, wherever applicable.

5. The candidates are held personally responsible for all the entries made in the online application form / hall ticket and any incorrect information or information suppressed will entitle disciplinary action against the candidates.

6. The results of examinations will be informed only through website www.jntuh.ac.in and students should download the Memorandum of Marks from the website. The original marks memos can be taken in person whenever the students visit SCDE Office.
