TS Police E Pass Application: Telangana State Government imposed a strict lockdown for 10 days to control the massive spread of COVID. The Telangana state lockdown will be commencing from 12th May and will be continued till 22nd May. The lockdown relaxation is given from 6 Am to 10 Am for the necessities. People who are moving interstate / inter-district through bus, car, or any other transport need to get the Telangana Epass from the TS Police. However, DGP M Mahendar Reddy on Tuesday said that special passes would be issued to those going to other states and other districts through the e-pass system. It is suggested to apply for e-passes issued in case of emergency through the website policeportal.tspolice.gov.in. Passes will only be issued to passengers traveling at times other than when the lockdown has been relaxed for emergencies. He said only those concerned police commissioners and SPs would issue passes to those going to other states and other districts in the state. However, for those coming to Telangana from other states, passes will be issued by the respective states. For those traveling from one Commissionerate to another in Hyderabad, passes will be issued by the Commissionerate where the journey begins. It was clarified that no passes are required for those traveling between 6 and 10 o’clock in the morning during lockdown relaxation time. During the lockdown relaxation time, local transport like metro trains and RTC buses will be available for public transport. Telangana state government has announced the state lockdown yesterday amid the COVID surge. People moving interstate / inter-district must get the epass compulsory for movement. People who violate the lockdown rules will be punished by the government under the disaster management act, 2005. The cases were tremendously increased in various states through the night curfew/ weekend lockdown imposed. Due to this reason, the TS state government imposed a strict lockdown in the state for 20 hours a day. Under emergency situations, only people are permitted to move from one state to other.

- Register with the TS Police Epass official website, tspolice.gov.in
- On the homepage, check the epass guidelines, and click on the Apply button.
- The page will be redirected to the application form of Telangana State ePass.
- Fill up the application form with all the required details such as your name, gender, mobile number, and email address.
- Now select an Identity Proof type from the dropdown menu and provide the Identity Card number.
- Select the category from the travellers list – migrant worker, are student, tourist, pilgrim, and emergency/medical.
- Select the Movement Type that is district movement/interstate movement.
- In the Applicant’s Photograph section, upload a photograph file from your system or you can click on the icon of a camera and click a picture instantly.
- Fill in the form with other necessary details.
- You can add members and their details by clicking on the addition symbol under the section of Traveler (s) Details.
- Applicants must have the Arogya Setu app installed on their mobile device.
- Now provide the captcha details that are displayed on the screen.
- Finally, click on the Submit button and you are all set.
The Epass approval status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile number. The pass may get rejected if the reasons are not valid.

Applicants can check the TS Epass status from the TS Police website. On the homepage status tab will be visible. Click on it and enter the provided TS Epass reference number in the specified column to track the status. After tracking the information, is the epass got allotted, you can take a printout of it for interstate / inter district movement.

TS Lockdown 12th May – 22nd May 2021 – Important Details
- The relaxation will be given from 6 AM to 10 AM for Shops of essential goods.
- Petrol pumps, ware housing services, private security services were also exempted under Lockdown 2021.
- Interstate/Inter district movement is not possible without the epass.
- People entering the state must have to show the RT-PCR report which should be of less than before 72 hours.
- Sanitizing, Wearing double layered mask, maintaining social distancing are must.
- People who held for unnecessary movement will be fined and punished.
