Telangana Government has decided to shut all the private and government institutions till 31st March due to the Corona fear. To prevent the spreading of Coronavirus Telangana state government is intending to close the Shopping malls and cinema theatres as well. The board examinations will be continued as usual.

The new decision will be announced in the cabinet meeting today evening. CM KCR has announced the high alert to be cautious from the fast-spreading coronavirus.

Balala Hakkula Sangham, a child rights body, has appreciated the decision of closing the schools till 31st March.

The AP State Government has not taken any decision regarding the postponement of the local body elections. TDP politburo member Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy said the filing of nominations was over and the campaign was to begin.

“To avoid public gatherings, the elections should be postponed,” he said.

APPSC Degree College Lecturers Exam postponed: It is hereby informed that the examinations for Degree College Lecturers (Notification No.26/2018) and Non-Gazetted posts (Notification No.15/2019) including Post Code No.03 of Notification No.14/2019, which are scheduled to be held on 21.03.2020 & 22.03.2020 and from 27.03.2020 to 29.03.2020 respectively, are postponed due to Elections for Local Bodies since large number of candidates are associated with election related duties. The revised dates will be announced on 19.03.2020.
